Emilie Kiser Reveals Family's Steadfast Support for Husband Brady Amid Grief

Emilie Kiser discussed how her family’s dynamic with her husband, Brady Kiser, shifted following his presence at home when the couple’s son Tripp passed away earlier this year.

Emilie, 26, and Brady, 28, celebrated Christmas with Emilie’s family, which she documented on TikTok. Responding to a question received on the platform, which asked about the family’s interactions with Brady – whether they were polite, expressed anger, or withheld their feelings – Emilie shared her perspective.

Emilie replied, “My entire family adores him immensely. In fact, their steadfast affection for him and Trigg has been a significant source of support as we navigate this difficult time together as a family.”

News emerged in May that Emilie and Brady’s eldest son, Trigg, died after being discovered unconscious in the family’s Arizona home swimming pool. While authorities submitted a recommendation for criminal charges against Brady, who was present at the house with both sons during the incident, no charges were ultimately filed.

In a statement released by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, they confirmed that a conviction was unlikely. Weeks later, Brady’s legal representative publicly acknowledged the officials’ thorough investigation in July, describing the case as “a devastating accident.”

Following a period of silence on social media, Emilie addressed the tragedy in August.

“The depth of this loss feels almost incomprehensible to articulate,” Kiser wrote on Instagram. “I’ve spent countless days, weeks, and months searching for the right words and taking the time needed to process the profound loss of my baby.”

She continued: “Trigg is our child and our dearest friend. The light and spirit he brought into the world were radiant, pure, joyful, and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day, and moving forward often feels unbearable. I never anticipated experiencing grief in this way or the pain of losing him so unexpectedly.”

Emilie emphasized that “no family should ever have to endure” the “sorrow, heartache, and emptiness” they have experienced.

“I accept full responsibility as Trigg’s mother, and I recognize that I should have done more to protect him,” she wrote. “One of the most difficult lessons I’ve learned is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it’s a detail I will never disregard again. I hope that amidst this pain, Trigg’s story will help prevent other children and families from experiencing a similar loss.”

Kiser expressed gratitude for her family’s “unconditional support” and to her audience for the “kind messages.”

“The only way to cope with grief is to keep moving forward, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, and since that day, I’ve strived to keep finding the strength to persevere,” she added. “When I began sharing my life on social media in 2021 as a new mother, my intention was to connect with other mothers and build a community. I’ve found that and so much more through all of you. I’ve discovered a community, a passion I cherish, and a profession I am deeply grateful for.”

She concluded: “I have always been authentic on social media and made every effort to share my everyday life honestly, while also being mindful of what I chose not to disclose. I’ve now realized through this tragedy how online relationships lack boundaries, particularly when it comes to protecting children’s privacy. Moving forward, I will be establishing stricter limits on what I share online.”

Earlier this month, Emilie posted the first footage featuring Brady after largely excluding him from her posts. A source exclusively told Us Weekly that Emilie and Brady “have been diligently working on their relationship” for “a considerable period.”

“They have weathered the most devastating tragedy imaginable as parents and are doing their best to unite as a family,” the insider shared. “This holiday season is crucial for establishing a sense of normalcy for their family. And they are still maintaining privacy as they strive to be the best parents they can be to Teddy.”
