Erika Kirk Vows to Expand Charlie Kirk's Legacy After Tragic Loss
Noted conservative voice Charlie Kirk and his wife, Erika Kirk (formerly Frantzve), a past Miss Arizona USA titleholder, had two children prior to his passing in September 2025.
The couple, Charlie and Erika, exchanged vows in 2021, following a two-year courtship. Their family grew with the arrival of a daughter in August 2022, followed by a son in May 2024.
That September, the co-founder of Turning Point USA was fatally wounded during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was transported to a medical facility for care but succumbed to his injuries, as reported by numerous media outlets then.
Among the notable figures, President Donald Trump issued statements urging prayers for Charlie's family following the tragic shooting.
“It is with profound sorrow that we, the leadership team of Turning Point USA, inform you that Charlie passed to his eternal rest with Jesus Christ in Heaven earlier this afternoon," a statement from Turning Point USA conveyed.
Josh Duhamel, Jessie James Decker, and others expressed their grief over Charlie Kirk's passing at age 31.
A few days subsequent, Erika commented publicly on Charlie’s heartbreaking demise, pledging to perpetuate his enduring influence.
“My dearest Charlie, I promise I will ensure your legacy lives on; I will not let it fade. I vow to elevate [your non-profit] Turning Point USA to an unprecedented scale in this nation,” she stated during a September 2025 live stream. “Oh, Charlie, I adore you. I love you, my darling. May you find peace in the embrace of our Lord as He comforts you with the words I know your spirit always longed to hear: 'Well done, my good and faithful servant.'”

Erika Frantzve
Their relationship began in 2019, and in December 2020, Charlie revealed their engagement on his podcast. Charlie and Erika, who is both an entrepreneur and a former beauty queen, ultimately married in Scottsdale, Arizona, in May 2021.
Erika, an evangelical Christian like her deceased spouse, discussed the "blessings" bestowed upon the newly married pair in an August 2021 interview, also contemplating the transformation her life underwent after encountering Charlie.
“I understood that given our lifestyle, our obedience [to God] in specific areas, and our intentionality, we would be granted [God's] favor,” she shared in a 2021 interview. “I hadn't anticipated such an extraordinary outpouring of blessings surrounding and upon us, and such divine favor.”
Pondering her existence prior to meeting Charlie, she recollected: “What you once considered painful [in the past] and what you believed to be wonderful at the time, they pale in comparison [to current life]. I believe people sometimes cling to experiences and periods in our lives that we should let go of.”
For their fourth wedding anniversary in May 2025, Charlie shared his thoughts on his relationship with Frantzve through an Instagram post.
“Today signifies four years of marriage to @mrserikakirk. Beyond embracing Jesus, it stands as the finest decision I have ever made. She is courageous, intelligent, devoted, and lovely,” he penned. “Happy anniversary, Erika, I love you.”
First Child’s Arrival
Charlie acknowledged his wife's resilience during childbirth upon announcing the arrival of their first child, a daughter, in August 2022. They had previously opted against making Erika's pregnancy public.
“Welcome to the world, our baby girl. We love you dearly,” he posted on Instagram. “Erika performed exceptionally well, praise be to God!”
Upon his return to his radio program the subsequent Monday, Charlie characterized the preceding seven days as “a week that profoundly altered my life.”
“Our beautiful daughter has joined us in the world,” he informed his audience.
Addressing his and Erika's choice to maintain privacy regarding her pregnancy, Charlie clarified: “We did so for several reasons, including security concerns, and also because it wasn't about social media visibility. In an era where every aspect of life is shared online, where everything is perpetually posted and discussed, my wife and I resolved to keep one matter quite private. And I can assure you, it was not simple.”

Charlie and Frantzve welcomed their son in May 2024, an event the political pundit again shared on Instagram.
“All glory to God for the arrival of our Son! Erika was absolutely incredible; I am so immensely proud of her,” he affirmed to his audience.
In May 2025, Charlie posted a photograph featuring both children – their faces turned away from the lens – to commemorate his son's first birthday.
