Eva Mendes Shares a Rare Glimpse of Life in the UK with Ryan Gosling
Eva Mendes is offering fans a rare glimpse into her life in the U.K. after she and Ryan Gosling moved from the United States.
Mendes, 51, shared a video on Wednesday, December 31, of her outdoors with her and Gosling’s dogs as they enjoyed an afternoon walk in their yard. The actress strolled around a fenced area showcasing her matching blue sweater and skirt ensemble as the pups played in the background.
“When you’re assessing how your outfit looks but the most important things in life remind you how insignificant it all is. ,” she captioned the Instagram clip. “Lucho & Magic forever. ”
In a separate clip uploaded on Saturday, December 27, Mendes provided a peek at her and Gosling’s cozy home. She can be seen emerging from the front door of the house constructed from red bricks. Mendes hesitated while deciding which jacket to wear outside — a stylish colorful coat dress or Gosling’s green jacket.

“Baby, it’s chilly outside,” she captioned the clip. “The coat dress or my partner’s jacket?”
While standing in front of the entryway of their home, Mendes tried on the coat dress. However, she ultimately chose to run inside and retrieve Gosling’s jacket and one of his baseball caps.
“When in doubt just wear your partner’s jacket and his baseball caps,” she lip-synced in the video.
Mendes and Gosling, 45, relocated across the Atlantic earlier this year as the actor began filming his upcoming Star Wars movie, Starfighter, slated for release in 2027.
Gosling and Mendes met in 2011 while collaborating on the film The Place Beyond the Pines. The couple initially kept their relationship discreet, but Us Weekly confirmed in 2014 that they had welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda. Two years later, they expanded their family with daughter Amada.
“I don’t discuss Ryan and all the wonderful things he does as a father because I keep that aspect private,” Mendes explained in an April 2020 social media post regarding why she and Gosling keep their lives out of the public eye. “I feel it’s best that I continue to share what I’m comfortable with but not involve him or my children too much. It’s not about being secretive or strange, it’s simply about maintaining privacy in a public setting. Does that make sense? I hope so. Because this is my honest answer.”
In 2022, Mendes and Gosling sparked marriage speculation after the actress was seen sporting a tattoo that included the Project Hail Mary star’s surname.

Last year, Gosling spoke about how he and Mendes function well as a team.
“She is with the girls and when she works, I stay home with the girls too. I couldn’t be here without her,” Gosling said in an April 2024 interview with Extra.
Gosling added that in addition to being a devoted mother, Mendes also assists him with his various projects.
“She has really become the best acting coach I have ever had,” he gushed. “It’s endless how much she helps me.”
