Former Ned’s Declassified costar Tylor Chase receives help from friends and former colleagues.
Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide cast member Daniel Curtis Lee has received assistance from former costar Tylor Chase.
“Tylor Chase and Cookie reunited with Ned via FaceTime. He’s well-fed and protected from the rain,” Lee, 34, wrote as a caption for an Instagram video on Tuesday, December 23. “A hotel has been secured! This is one step closer to long-term care. PS: Tylor wants to livestream video games. Can anyone help?”
Lee provided fans with “an update” on Chase after details about the former child actor’s living situation became public earlier this month. Lee credited The Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss who “put in a lot of effort” to get Chase the help he needed.
“Today, I went to share pizza with him,” Lee continued, telling fans that they FaceTimed with fellow Ned’s Declassified star Devon Werkheiser.

Chase “placed his trust in an old friend,” per Lee, and they were able to check him into a hotel room. Lee also explained that Weiss tried to get Chase a spot at Eleven 11 Recovery, but he declined.
“I just wanted him to have, at minimum, some basic accommodations,” Lee continued. “He wanted to remain local and this was the only option that was available and accepting people, so here we are, man.”
