Frankie Grande Undergoes Successful Cervical Spine Surgery

<p><strong><a href="/page/tag/Frankie-Grande">Frankie Grandea>strong> is recovering after undergoing cervical spine surgery.p><p>&ldquo;Signal if you’ve just been repaired,&rdquo; the <em>Big Brotherem> alum, 42, wrote via Instagram on Monday, December 22, alongside a selfie of him in a hospital bed. &ldquo;Today I had a scheduled cervical spine surgery to alleviate pressure on nerves in my neck that have been causing discomfort and neurological symptoms for some time.&rdquo;p><div id="starter"><div id="mb1">div>div><p>Frankie, who is the older brother of <em>Wickedem> star<strong> <a href="/page/tag/Ariana-Grande">Ariana Grandea>strong>, revealed that the surgery was a success.p><p>&ldquo;The procedure went exactly as anticipated, without any unexpected issues, no drama (for once), just very precise work by an exceptional medical team,&rdquo; he continued. &ldquo;They removed bone and tissue that were compressing the nerves, providing my spinal cord, discs, and radiating nerves the space they need to heal and function properly.&rdquo;p><p><a href="/page/tag/Frankie-Grande">Frankie Grandea> Discusses How Sobriety Helped Improve His Family Relationshipp><p>Following surgery, Frankie’s next steps involve &ldquo;four weeks of recuperation&rdquo; and physical therapy.p><p>&ldquo;Now comes 4 weeks of healing, rest, physical therapy, and being kinder to my body than I typically am. MERRY CHRISTMAS! &rdquo; he said. &ldquo;I’m sore, I’m tired, but I’m safe, I’m relieved, and I’m already feeling hopeful. This was a necessary step so I can return to good health, return to the stage, and return to living fully without pain controlling my life.&rdquo;p><p>Frankie also expressed his gratitude for the &ldquo;affection, prayers, messages, and support&rdquo; he’s received so far.p><p>&ldquo;Truly felt and deeply appreciated. So, she has a recipe that she passed down to my mother and then to me and to Ari, and we’ve been cooking it every year since she hasn’t been able to actually stand at the stove for the past few years.&rdquo;p><p>Frankie continued, &ldquo;It will be very different making it without her there at all. But we know she’s there. She’s watching.&rdquo;p><p>Frankie joked that his grandmother would &ldquo;probably have suggestions&rdquo; on what he and Ariana come up with in the kitchen.p>
