Freddie Freeman's Family Grows with Twins and a Bachelor Nation Connection
Major League Baseball standout Freddie Freeman is a father to three boys with his spouse, Chelsea Freeman.
The first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers first experienced fatherhood in September 2016, following the arrival of their son, Charlie. Almost five years subsequent to that, Freddie and Chelsea, who had married in 2014, celebrated the birth of two more sons, delivered just six weeks apart, with one born through a gestational carrier. Brandon arrived initially in December 2020, with Maximus following in February 2021.
The pair opted for a surrogate mother subsequent to their difficulties in conceiving a second child naturally. Their surrogacy journey was already well underway when Chelsea found herself pregnant against expectations.
During September 2025, Freddie’s relatives garnered attention when his aunt, Carol Freeman-Branstine, participated in the second season of The Golden Bachelor.
