The co-presenters of Charlie Kirk’s show resumed their podcast just a few days following the 31-year-old's passing.
On the "The Charlie Kirk Show" podcast's installment, aired Friday, September 12, and featuring Jack Posobiec, James O'Keefe, and Kash Patel as co-hosts, an unoccupied chair was displayed in tribute to Kirk.
One of the co-hosts remarked during their remembrance of their deceased friend, "Charlie would have wished for our presence here. He would have been displeased if we hadn't shown up. We've deliberately kept his chair vacant, as it's a spot no one could truly occupy."
This particular episode premiered two days following Kirk's fatal shooting incident on Wednesday, September 10, at Utah Valley University.

Kirk initiated “The Charlie Kirk Show” in 2019, frequently garnering media attention for his conservative viewpoints on contentious subjects. Consequently, the passing of the prominent conservative figure has ignited widespread discussion across social media platforms, with President Donald Trump being one of the initial public responders.
Trump issued a statement through the White House’s X account, declaring, “The esteemed, and indeed Legendary, Charlie Kirk, has passed away. No individual possessed a deeper understanding or a greater connection to the spirit of America's youth than Charlie.”
Trump further added in the message posted on the White House’s X account: “He was cherished and respected by EVERYONE, particularly by me, and now, he is gone. Melania and I extend our heartfelt condolences to his lovely wife Erika and their family. Charlie, we hold you dear!"
Numerous other public figures also offered their tributes, with Chris Pratt sharing on X, “My prayers are with Charlie Kirk at this moment, for his wife and young kids, and for our nation. We are in dire need of God’s mercy. May God assist us."

Candace Cameron Bure posted her personal message online, stating on X, “We adore you, Charlie. A job well done, good and loyal servant.”
Concurrently, Tim Allen dedicated his 9/11 commemorative post to express condolences to Kirk’s family following the passing of the conservative political analyst.
“On this sorrowful day, recalling 9-11, I extend a solemn prayer for Charlie Kirk's family,” Allen, aged 72, conveyed on X on Thursday, September 11. “This truly marks a profoundly grim period.”
Following a search spanning two days, police officials declared on Friday that 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, identified as the suspected gunman, had been apprehended.
Kirk's survivors include his wife, Erika Kirk (born Frantzve), and their two children.
