From DWTS to Forever: Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec's Enduring Love Story
Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec discovered romance on the Dancing With the Stars stage in 2015 and have remained a strong couple ever since.
After being paired together for the 20th season of DWTS, Johnson and Herjavec sparked speculation about a relationship when they were observed in a close embrace at a viewing party for the ABC series in March 2015. They appeared to confirm their budding romance a few months later in May, following a sighting of them kissing in Palm Springs.
“He is such a wonderful man,” the former DWTS professional dancer shared with Us Weekly in May 2015. “Absolutely, we are still spending time together. We truly enjoy each other's company.”
The couple revealed their engagement in February 2016 and exchanged vows that August. Johnson and Herjavec subsequently welcomed their twins, Hudson and Haven, in April 2018.

Johnson and Herjavec ignited relationship rumors after an eyewitness informed Us that they witnessed the pair cuddling intimately at a DWTS viewing event held at Los Angeles’s Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails.
“Kym and Robert were clearly drawn to one another right from the start,” a second insider shared with Us at the time. “They are consistently affectionate with each other. She constantly speaks about how kind and good he is. They possess incredible chemistry and are genuinely a fantastic match.”
Later that same month, Herjavec openly expressed his delight about his connection with Johnson.
“I truly enjoy spending time with Kym. She is a lot of fun to be around,” he told Us. “From the very first moment I encountered [Kym], we connected wonderfully. This is a quite daunting experience for me, and it’s wonderful to have someone like Kym to share it with.”

After finishing in sixth place on DWTS and being seen kissing in Palm Springs, Johnson confirmed that she was still dating Herjavec.
“He is such a wonderful man. Absolutely, we are still spending time together. We truly enjoy each other's company,” she reiterated to Us.

After less than a year of dating, the couple announced their engagement.
“We went to the house and I had rose petals leading up to the pool,” Herjavec recounted to Us about his proposal. “In the pool was a large swan and on the swan was a box. She pulled the swan in, opened the box, and I declared, ‘Actually, that’s not for you. That’s for me.’”

Soon after Herjavec retrieved the ring from the box and proposed marriage to Johnson, she began “crying and making peculiar noises.”
“And then I asked again and she started crying and making peculiar noises. And I asked a third time and I thought, ‘Okay, this is becoming really awkward!’” he recalled.

Six months after their engagement, Johnson and Herjavec exchanged vows in Los Angeles, surrounded by their friends and family.

Following their wedding, Johnson shared insights into her life as a newlywed.
“It has been the most amazing summer of my life,” she told Us. “The ceremony was incredible. I was most anxious about it, but that turned out to be the most beautiful moment. Even though our family and friends were all present, it truly was just about Robert and me in that instant. It was simply the two of us, exchanging our promises, and that was the most special part.”

“I would adore having more children,” she confided to Us, before Robert interjected, stating, “No, no, no. We can’t even get a dog. Are you serious? We actually considered getting a puppy during all this [but] … all the shelters are empty.”
