Gisele Bündchen and partner Joaquim Valente have officially tied the knot following a relationship spanning almost three years, sources confirm.
A marriage certificate, accessed by the publication on Friday, December 19, verifies that Bündchen, 45, and Valente, 38, secured their marriage license in Miami on December 1, and held the ceremony just two days later on December 3.

Bündchen and Valente commenced their romantic relationship in June 2023, succeeding her separation from former husband Tom Brady. The fashion icon and Brady, 48, were united in marriage between 2009 and 2022, during which they welcomed son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13. (Bündchen also holds the role of stepmother to Brady’s eldest son, Jack, 17, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.)
In March 2024, Bündchen discussed her relationship with Valente, noting their transition from friendship into romance.
“This marks the first instance where I am involved with someone who began as a friend,” she revealed during an interview with the New York Times. “It feels entirely distinct. It possesses great candor and clarity.”
Bündchen additionally rejected rumors suggesting she was having an affair with the jiu-jitsu trainer prior to her separation from Brady.
“That assertion is false. Many women face accusations of being unfaithful when they find the strength to exit an unhealthy relationship,” she remarked. “They must contend with judgment from their communities and families. Naturally, for me, this situation is slightly amplified.”
In October 2024, sources confirmed Bündchen's pregnancy with her third child, marking her first with Valente.
“When Gisele informed the children of her pregnancy, she made certain to also notify Tom,” a source revealed exclusively at the time. “This occurred several months prior. She wished to extend that courtesy to him, understanding the children would share the news regardless.”
Bündchen delivered her and Valente’s son in February. The pair has not yet disclosed the infant's name.
Three months following the birth, Bündchen provided insight into her home life with the new baby.
“Since my baby is now sleeping through the night, I've managed to regain command of my daily schedule,” she stated in a May interview for Vogue France. “Any mother can attest to how profoundly sleep—or the absence thereof—impacts everything! Yet I feel immense gratitude once more: having the opportunity to be at home with my children and cherish these moments with them is invaluable.”
