Giuffre's Family Appeals to Monarchy for Justice Following Memoir Release
The relatives of Virginia Giuffre made an appeal to the British monarchy as they promoted her memoir, Nobody’s Girl, which was published after her death.
On Tuesday, October 21, Virginia’s brother, Sky Roberts, and his spouse, Amanda, were guests on the British ITV program This Morning. The presenter, Cat Deeley, inquired if they wished to convey anything to the monarchy, given that Prince Andrew’s association with the deceased and convicted billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein remains a prominent news topic.
“I believe you have a chance to initiate transformation,” Amanda stated. “You have a chance to declare yourselves a royal family that safeguards the blameless, irrespective of who is involved, and that you will uphold what is just.”
She continued, “You have the chance to earn the trust of your populace, and of other nations and global entities, and we are optimistic that you will act appropriately. I feel it has been an excessive period. Our sister has endured an extended wait for such recognition and fairness, and we anticipate that we can rely on you to deliver.”
Queries and Potential Responses Regarding Virginia Giuffre’s Demise
The British monarchy has not issued any public statements concerning Virginia’s autobiography or recent
In 2019, Virginia initially accused Andrew of sexual battery, asserting that their initial meeting occurred in 2001 when she was a minor at 17 years old. Andrew adamantly refuted her allegations at that juncture, even asserting he had never encountered her, notwithstanding the existence of a photograph showing them together. Andrew subsequently withdrew from his official royal engagements.
Several years on, Virginia initiated a lawsuit against Andrew for sexual mistreatment in 2021. The parties reached an out-of-court agreement the subsequent year. Within her publication, Virginia stated her intention to utilize the settlement funds “to effect positive change” and establish the Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (Soar) foundation.
Virginia articulated that her objective was “for Soar to counteract human trafficking by aiding groups that emphasize legal pursuit, safeguarding, and preemptive measures.”
It was reported earlier this year that Virginia passed away at 41 due to suicide.
Following her demise, electronic correspondence exchanged between Epstein and Andrew came back to light. Andrew had previously asserted that he ceased communication with Epstein in December 2010. Nonetheless, the emails bore dates from 2011.

This exchange of messages between the two individuals emerged shortly before the publication of Virginia’s autobiography, which recounts the purported sexual abuse she experienced involving both Andrew and Epstein.
On Friday, October 17, Andrew declared his decision to relinquish his royal designation as the controversy persisted.
“Following conversations with The King, along with my immediate and extended relatives, we have determined that the ongoing allegations concerning me detract from the responsibilities of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” the erstwhile Duke of York conveyed in a contemporaneous announcement. “I have opted, as is my custom, to prioritize my obligations to my kin and nation. I affirm my choice made half a decade ago to retreat from public visibility.”
He further stated, “With His Majesty’s concurrence, we believe I must now take an additional measure,” his Friday communiqué concluded. “Consequently, I will cease to employ my designation or the accolades bestowed upon me. As I have previously communicated, I emphatically refute the charges leveled against me.”
