Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner Finds Love Again and is Now Engaged

Following his appearance on The Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner has discovered a new romantic partner, and he's now publicly acknowledging their relationship.

Following several weeks of hints about their connection, Gerry confirmed his girlfriend's identity during an interview with TMZ in April 2025, precisely one year after his separation from Golden Bachelor victor Theresa Nist.

Gerry recounted meeting Lana Sutton, a former educator, after she initiated contact with him through direct messages. Although he initially disregarded her first message, Lana captured his interest with her second attempt by revealing that her childhood home was in an Indiana town just 20 minutes from his. He informed TMZ that Lana is in her mid-50s and previously held a stake in a video production business.

Additionally, he posted pictures of Lana on Instagram, commenting, "It's incredible how many individuals in Charleston recognized us and offered their good wishes."

Fans of Bachelor Nation inundated the comments section, among them Gerry's former romantic interests, Faith Martin and Susan Noles. Faith expressed, "Oh, so delighted for you both," and Susan chimed in, "Very happy for you."

Theresa, on her end, disclosed to Us Weekly that Gerry informed her about Lana before their relationship became public information. Gerry recounted taking Lana to a restaurant for their initial date in March, and they have remained constantly together ever since. During an interview with TMZ the subsequent month, he verified that she has been introduced to his children and pickleball companions, just as he has met some of her children and her parents.

April 2025

Gerry announced he was involved with a new partner during an episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

"I am currently seeing someone," he stated. "At this moment, I believe things are progressing favorably. However, I prefer not to disclose too much and risk spoiling it, as I'm aiming to reach a point where a respectful period has passed since my divorce. Perhaps that's a somewhat traditional perspective – maybe it holds less significance than I perceive, but out of consideration, I intend to take things slowly."

Gerry mentioned that he and the then-unidentified Lana connected through their shared experiences with children and their passion for travel.

"The individual I'm seeing will begin, 'Would you like to go and...,' and before she can complete her thought, I'll affirm, 'Yes,'" Turner recounted, observing his immediate attraction to her.

"I'm hesitant to admit it, knowing I might face criticism. It happened almost the very first time I laid eyes on her. It was the gaze she directed at me. Suddenly, I felt completely captivated by this look, experiencing a distinct physical sensation, which I initially dismissed. I thought, 'That's absurd, that's preposterous.' Yet, with each subsequent meeting, that sensation has immediately resurfaced upon seeing her, prompting the thought, 'Wow, this is truly remarkable,'" he remarked.

Within days of his "Bachelor Happy Hour" conversation, Gerry confirmed his girlfriend was, in fact, Lana during a discussion with TMZ.

Following the disclosure of Lana's identity, Gerry uploaded several pictures to Instagram, accompanied by the caption, "It's incredible how many individuals in Charleston recognized us and offered their good wishes."

Gerry informed People that marriage remained a potential option for himself and Lana.

He informed People of their intentions to visit London and Paris during the upcoming summer.
