Gordon Ramsay Celebrates Daughter Holly's Wedding to Olympic Swimmer Adam Peaty

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was visibly delighted as his daughter Holly Ramsay exchanged vows with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.

“I’m incredibly fortunate to have been able to escort this beautiful bride down the aisle and welcome an exceptional son-in-law @adam_peaty!” Gordon, 59, shared via Instagram on Saturday, December 27, ahead of the wedding. “I adore you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn’t be a prouder dad.”

Gordon and his wife, Tana Ramsay, are parents to six children: Megan, 27, Holly, 25, Jack, 24, Matilda, 24, Oscar, 6, and Jesse, 2.

Holly and Peaty, 30, recited their vows at Bath Abbey in Bath, England, on Saturday, after she was given away by her father, Gordon. The Hell’s Kitchen host opted for a classic black tuxedo, while Holly looked radiant in a white ballgown featuring a capelet and a long veil.

For her beauty look, Holly styled her dark hair in an updo with face-framing strands.

Holly’s sisters, Megan and Matilda, served as bridesmaids for the ceremony and appeared elegant in short-sleeved red silk dresses, each holding a small bouquet of Calla lilies. Peaty’s sister, Bethany, also participated in the bridal party and wore a matching dress. Mother-of-the-bride Tana, 51, selected a deep emerald-colored sleeveless gown for the occasion.

Holly announced her engagement to Peaty in September 2024.

“I am marrying my dearest friend. I truly cannot express how I am feeling right now,” she wrote on Instagram alongside photos of her engagement ring. “I still [remember] the joy I felt the morning I returned home from my first date with you. “Thank you for allowing the young woman inside of me to feel cherished, understood and happier than ever.”

Holly continued, “I love you, and I eagerly anticipate becoming your wife. I promise to always be there for you and George, I’m so [grateful] to be a part of his life and I’m looking forward to all that’s to come. Everything is better with you. Everything has been better since you. Here’s to forever.”

The Olympic gold medalist, who has been romantically involved with Holly since 2021, welcomed son George with a previous partner the year before.

“I knew everything was going to shift from that point, but it’s been wonderful,” Peaty told the BBC in June 2020 regarding the news of his ex-girlfriend’s pregnancy. “People might think it was an accident, but that’s not the case. It’s one of the most beautiful things you can experience together and we’ve already planned the nursery.”

Peaty further predicted that fatherhood would influence his athletic training.

“There will be sleepless nights, but I’ve matured significantly since Rio 2016 when I was really just a boy, and this is another step in my personal growth,” he told the outlet. “I believe [fatherhood] will make me stronger and it will be incredible to stand on those blocks at the Olympics knowing every time I race, I have [my son] supporting me.”

The following year, Peaty described becoming a father as “the most fulfilling and remarkable thing” he’s achieved.

“I make decisions now based on how he’s going to view them [and] what’s important in the long run for him,” he told the British newspaper in 2021. “It’s less about myself and more about him.”
