Gosselin Twins Mady and Cara Seen in Rare NYC Reunion with Sister Hannah

Twin sisters Mady Gosselin and Cara Gosselin typically keep a low profile — but Hannah Gosselin posted an infrequent image of the three of them during her trip to New York City.

On Monday, November 17, Hannah, aged 21, uploaded multiple Instagram pictures documenting her visit with her 25-year-old twin sisters, Mady and Cara, in New York.

The carousel featured a shot of taxis, a self-portrait taken in a mirror by Hannah, a photograph of bagels, and finally, a picture of the three siblings beaming in a photo booth.

“Spotted in nyc,” Hannah wrote as the caption for the photos, to which Mady replied, “Photos = ate, bagels = ate harder.”

These sisters are the offspring of Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin. The couple — who separated in 2008 — first had twins Mady and Cara, and subsequently sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel.

The Gosselin household gained widespread recognition through the well-known TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, and its successor Kate Plus 8, airing from 2007 to 2017.

Family turmoil began when Kate, 50, initiated divorce proceedings against Jon, 48, following her allegations of infidelity. Amidst the contentious divorce, Hannah and Collin chose to reside with their father, whereas their other siblings remained with their mother.

The other siblings — with the exception of Hannah and Collin — reportedly maintain no communication with their father.

“Whenever I am in New York or similar places, I make an effort to connect with my twins,” Jon informed Us Weekly in October 2024. “Perhaps it will eventually occur, but we shall observe. The holiday season is approaching, and maybe it will materialize then.”

Although the majority of the siblings stay in touch with each other and Kate, Collin does not communicate with them and has been separated from his mother for a long time. In October 2024, Collin claimed that Kate engaged in physical abuse during his formative years.

“It was difficult. I certainly experienced considerable hardship as a child at the hands of my mother. Therefore, it was challenging,” he stated during a conversation with The U.S. Sun. “I simply recall being kept apart from my siblings and consistently bearing the brunt of her emotional states or the difficulties she faced in her life.”

Collin further claimed that Kate confined him to an isolation room “numerous occasions” during his youth, and purportedly “bound his hands and feet together with zip ties, deadbolted the door, extinguished the lights, and had cameras observing him.”

Kate did not respond to these accusations; however, her attorney, Richard Puleo, informed the publication then that he found it improbable Kate would “deliberately injure” Collin, who purportedly displayed “problematic conduct.”

Almost a year subsequent to Collin's initial assertions, he again criticized Kate, alleging she “engaged in an affair” with her ex-bodyguard Steve Neild back in 2009. (Neild and Kate are presently in a relationship.)

“What truly distresses me is that my mother had an affair with our bodyguard as far back as 2009, and for years, she would share hotel rooms with him during our family holidays, while I was in an adjoining room!” he posted on Instagram Stories. “Presently, everyone perceives her relationship with him as some charming, fresh romance. Incidentally, my father endured death threats and public ostracization for years due to ‘having an affair’ and ‘abandoning his children.’”

Jon appeared to reinforce Collin’s assertions that Kate had an illicit relationship with Neild by posting a picture of Kate and Neild on his Instagram Story, accompanied by the message, “Guess who truly destroyed the marriage. Discover the truth.”

Jon additionally included a screenshot from a Page Six report confirming Kate and Neild’s relationship, appending the remark, “Perhaps now when I speak, people will finally pay attention!”
