Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s Marriage Is Stronger Than Ever Despite Rumors
The marriage between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton remains steadfast, effectively quashing recent rumors of a potential separation.
A source close to the couple revealed exclusively to Us Weekly that the pair's relationship is “stronger than ever,” a stability attributed to their mutual priorities: family and faith.
“Their bond is rooted in their core values. They are profoundly committed to one another,” the insider explained. “From the outset, they faced the challenge of managing separate careers that frequently pull them in different directions, necessitating periods of time apart. This travel schedule has become part of their routine now, and they effectively manage it.”
The source noted that both partners are accustomed to traveling independently for work engagements and always reconvene at their primary residence in Oklahoma. “They also allocate significant time to California and Las Vegas,” the source shared with Us. “Traveling between these locations is simply part of their professional lives at this stage, and they’ve both grown quite used to it over many years.”
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani find happiness living on the farm with her children.
Furthermore, the duo makes a concerted effort to schedule time together amid their demanding schedules — regardless of how short the window may be.
“When either of them headlines in Vegas, the other attends. Both have very demanding careers, but they prioritize being together, even if only for a single day,” the source commented, adding that their family unit and children will always take precedence. (Stefani shares three sons — Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 11 — with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.)
“Prioritizing shared time, especially with the kids, is key for them. When Blake performs shows in Vegas early next year, Gwen will join him, and when her residency begins in the spring, he will reciprocate,” the insider detailed.
In potentially exciting news for fans of The Voice, where Stefani and Shelton first connected as coaches in 2014, the source added that the couple’s collaborative time on the reality show might not be entirely over. This information comes as Shelton launches another reality music competition, The Road, which premiered on CBS in October.
Blake Shelton expresses 'relief' with Gwen Stefani following his departure from 'The Voice'
“It wouldn't surprise those close to Blake at all if he returns to The Voice, which holds special significance for both of them,” the insider told Us. “He tends to seize every opportunity presented to him.” (Shelton spent 12 years as a coach, departing the show in 2023, while Stefani has had multiple stints, most recently exiting in 2023.)
Speculation about strain between Stefani, 56, and Shelton, 49, circulated online when they were absent from the 2025 CMA Awards on November 19. Fans expressed concern as Shelton’s collaboration with Post Malone, “Pour Me a Drink,” was nominated for — and ultimately won — the award for Musical Event of the Year.
Eyebrows were raised further when vigilant followers noted that Stefani hadn’t shared any images featuring Shelton since June. However, Stefani dismissed the speculation with an Instagram Story on November 28 showing Shelton kissing her cheek. No caption was included on the post.
Shelton and Stefani married during a small ceremony held at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch in July 2021. The officiant for the event was The Voice host Carson Daly, and only 40 guests were present.
