Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Navigating Marriage and Motherhood Under the Spotlight
Hailey Bieber offered an infrequent glimpse into her marital journey with husband, Justin Bieber, confirming their deliberate approach to navigating their life under public scrutiny.
“We're simply living moment by moment,” the 28-year-old Hailey revealed in a GQ cover story released on Tuesday, November 11. “Both of us feel intensely protective of our son, and I don't foresee that ever changing. However, our existence is inherently public, so I anticipate we'll address challenges as they arise. Currently, I'm content with the balance we've struck in disclosing and withholding information.”
Hailey and Justin, 31, celebrated the arrival of their first child, son Jack Blues, in August 2024. Despite subsequent speculation about marital strain, an exclusive source informed Us Weekly that the couple successfully “reestablished their bond” earlier this year.
“Both parties feel a sense of ease,” the insider elaborated in August. “Justin's demeanor has become noticeably calmer. He had been under immense pressure and has experienced improved mental well-being over recent weeks. He's delighted by the favorable reception of [his album Swag] and the appreciation from fans.”

In her conversation with GQ, Hailey confessed that motherhood has profoundly transformed her, and she anticipates feeling more prepared for a potential second child.
“I believe no amount of advice can ever truly, truly, truly ready you for it until you experience it firsthand,” she clarified. “However, I now feel significantly more equipped to go through it again, compared to the complete lack of readiness I felt the first time. And personally, I find there's so much unpredictability involved, yet so much unfolds and shifts, causing you to transform in an entirely distinct manner that you could never anticipate until it happens.”
Last month, Hailey disclosed that she and Justin do intend to have more children, though they are not currently rushing to grow their family.
“It's truly enjoyable. I adore being a mother,” she shared during an appearance on the “In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele” podcast, further noting that she “always envisioned becoming a mother, even as a child.”

When questioned about her own desire for more children, Hailey responded, “I believe so.”
Host Owen Thiele then quipped, “Oh goodness. You'll soon have, like, five little Biebers darting about.”
The Rhode founder further stated, “I absolutely do, as I'm certain I want more than one, but I'm not pressing the issue.”
