Chris Hemsworth deeply values his family connections.

Craig Hemsworth

Craig, Chris’ father, entered the world in 1955. Prior to his career as a child protection counselor, he was employed on a cattle station in Australia's Northern Territory and participated in motorbike racing.

Craig and Leonie, whose marriage began in 1981, welcomed their sons Luke, Chris, and Liam in November 1980, August 1983, and January 1990, in that order.

Chris disclosed in 2025 that Craig had received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Leonie Hemsworth

Leonie's professional background includes working as an English educator before transitioning into a role as a child protection counselor, similar to her spouse.

Luke Hemsworth

Luke first achieved significant recognition through his role in the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
