Quarterback Justin Herbert seemed to subtly acknowledge a link with pop star Madison Beer just before Monday Night Football this week.
Before the Los Angeles Chargers faced the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, September 16, Beer, age 26, released a preview of her upcoming single “Yes Baby,” set to be released on Friday, September 19.
She wrote “I just wanna hear you say,” with the Instagram video, showing her exercising on a treadmill while wearing high heels.
This marked Beer’s initial social media update since June. Herbert, 27 years old, reacted to the post with a “like,” which promptly garnered fan attention.

In the comments, one individual posted, “JUSTIN HERBERT FOR MVP.”
A different supporter attributed Herbert’s impressive showing this season to Beer.
That fan commented, “Thanks for transforming @justinherbert into a true BEAST this year.”
The video also received a comment from Annie Buerk, the long-term girlfriend of Herbert’s teammate, Cameron Dicker.
Buerk enthused, "Such an immense aura, one might believe she cultivates it."
Neither Herbert nor Beer has made a public statement regarding their relationship. Us Weekly contacted representatives for both Herbert and Beer for a response, but received no reply.
The previous month, Beer and Herbert first ignited dating speculation when the quarterback was seen at the recording location for the pop star’s music video. During the Los Angeles shoot, the two were photographed by Us smiling and talking during breaks. Beer then introduced Herbert to the music video production team before they departed together in the athlete’s vehicle.
This month, Herbert and Beer were captured in pictures holding hands during a group dinner outing in West Hollywood with some of his teammates, as reported by Sports Illustrated. This get-together occurred following the Chargers' impressive victory against the Kansas City Chiefs in the season's second week.
Herbert has largely maintained privacy regarding his personal relationships ever since the Chargers drafted him in 2020. He was once rumored to be romantically involved with NFL Network commentator Taylor Bisciotti, though they never officially acknowledged any relationship.

Earlier in the year, Beer discussed her serious approach to romantic relationships.
