Following two months of initial speculation regarding their relationship, Jessica Simpson confirmed her split from Eric Johnson, bringing an end to their decade-long marriage. In a statement issued to Us Weekly on January 13, she explained, “Eric and I have been residing apart while navigating a difficult circumstance within our marriage.” She further added, “Our children are our foremost concern, and we are concentrating on what serves their best interests. We extend our gratitude for the outpouring of affection and encouragement, and we kindly ask for privacy at this moment as we manage this as a family.”

The former couple exchanged vows in 2014 and are parents to Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie. Merely two days prior to revealing their breakup, Simpson re-listed her Los Angeles property on the real estate market for an asking price of $17.9 million.

In related news, on January 8, it was reported that Jessica Alba and Cash Warren had parted ways following 16 years as a married couple. Alba was in her ninth month of pregnancy with their eldest child, daughter Honor, when they solemnized their union in 2008. Subsequently, they welcomed their daughter Haven in 2011 and their son Hayes in 2017.
