Jaime King
In a September 2025 appearance on the “Juicy Scoop With Heather McDonald” podcast, King announced her autism diagnosis.
“I discovered it in my late 20s. It emerged from getting tested because I understood that having ADHD suggested the other condition might also be present,” she clarified to host Heather McDonald. “I was pursuing my master's degree in spiritual science and psychology, and I began to truly grasp, ‘Oh, that's the aspect of me that differentiates me from others.’ It's simply how my brain functions and how I engage with or relate to the world, which isn't 'normal' per se. It's a strength.”
Ginger Minj
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 contestant Ginger Minj is opening up about her recent autism diagnosis and how the show played a part in her health journey.
“To be frank, I only learned I was genuinely autistic — though I had my suspicions throughout my life — when we went through the casting process for All Stars 10 and I underwent my psychiatric evaluation,” Minj revealed during an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on June 14.
“Based on how I communicated, the therapist inquired, ‘Are you autistic? Are you on the spectrum?’ I had my hunches, but I mentioned I'd never been tested,” she continued. “He recommended I get tested. So, I did. I was tested, and I am.”
The Drag Race celebrity then elaborated that the diagnosis provided “40 years of my life with perspective.”
Tamra Judge
In October 2024, the RHOC star shared on an episode of her and Mellencamp’s “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast that she identified as “on the spectrum.”
“Many adjustments will need to be made going forward,” Tamra explained, mentioning she discussed her social anxiety with her therapist. “It's because the apprehension I feel when speaking to people and how I manage to get through the show involves drinking. … All this suppressed material within me surfaces when I drink because my inhibitions are lowered.”
Bella Ramsey
The Last of Us actor disclosed in March 2025 that they received an autism diagnosis while filming the first season of the HBO series. Ramsey, who uses they/them pronouns, shared that they “always wondered” if they had autism growing up but never acted on that assumption until a crew member, whose daughter has autism, noted Ramsey’s traits and encouraged them to seek a formal psychiatric assessment.
“I've consistently observed and learned from people. Having to more deliberately learn how to socialize and interact with those around me has benefited my acting,” they told British Vogue, pointing out that receiving an official diagnosis ultimately felt “liberating.” “It allows me to navigate the world with greater self-compassion for not being able to perform simple everyday tasks that everyone else seems to manage effortlessly.”
Ramsey clarified that the “designation of being autistic” has been helpful in understanding themself.
“However, regarding gender and sexuality, labels don't feel comfortable for me in any capacity, because I feel like I'm confining myself. I feel constrained,” they noted, adding that the autism diagnosis permits them to “unmask instantly.”
Grimes
The “Genesis” vocalist announced in March 2025 that she was diagnosed with ADHD and autism.
“I feel as though, had we been aware of this when I was a child, I would have exerted significantly less effort, been on medication, and many of my unusual obsessions and motivations would have been deemed pathological, allowing me to dismiss certain challenges that were very difficult but which I'm glad I overcame,” she explained via X.
Tallulah Willis
In March 2024, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis posted a video on social media of herself as a child rubbing her dad’s ear — which prompted her to reveal her autism diagnosis.
“Indicate you're autistic without explicitly stating it,” she captioned the video. In the comment section, she mentioned it was the “first time” she had “publicly” discussed her diagnosis. “Discovered this summer and it has profoundly impacted my life.”

“Autism brings you to a Rain Man-like state,” he said on Justin Laboy’s “The Download” podcast. “‘I'm going to wear this [Donald] Trump hat because I generally favor Trump.’ And then when people instruct you not to, you fixate on that one point. And that is my difficulty.”
Holly Madison
The former Playboy House Bunny revealed in December 2023 that she was on the autism spectrum.
“I've suspected it for some time because my mother mentioned she always had a hunch that might be the case,” she said on an episode of the “Talking to Death” podcast, noting that she often daydreamed as a child and “struggled” to recognize social cues. “I simply rationalized it. I believed it was because I grew up in Alaska, and then around middle school, moved to Oregon, and I thought, ‘Well, that was just a major social transition.’ So, I'm just very introverted. Like, that's typically how I dismissed it.”
Madison further explained that doctors informed her she has “high-executive functioning” autism, meaning she “can live her life and perform tasks ‘normally.’”
“I believe because I am quieter, I have only recently learned to maintain eye contact [and] I am often lost in my own thoughts, so people perceive that as offensive,” she said. “I am simply not on the same social wavelength as others, but please don't take it personally.”
Demi Burnett
The Bachelor alumna took to Instagram in February 2022 to announce her autism diagnosis after undergoing a psychological test.
“There is a significant stigma associated with autism. I urge you to maintain an open mind and be accepting,” she wrote. “My sole desire is to achieve a better quality of life. I will share more about my evaluation journey and how I reached this point, along with all my pain and challenges throughout. I want to ensure anyone who is/was feeling similarly knows you truly are not alone. It can improve! And most importantly, it is not your fault.”
Amber Borzotra
The Challenge: Ride or Dies star disclosed on the series’ March 2023 reunion show that she was diagnosed as autistic.
“I find social situations challenging, and this pressure has been immense for me,” she told her costars. “And I've taken medication for depression and anxiety during this game, and I told people I hadn't because it was embarrassing. I wish I had discovered this much sooner because I've struggled with my identity for 34 years.”
Borzotra shared she is “still learning a great deal about the diagnosis,” but she frequently “camouflages [herself] to blend in.”
“So, if I observe someone hugging another person, or doing something similar, I feel compelled to mirror that. For instance, I stim a lot. I'm unsure if you all know, but I rub my hands frequently, I bite my lip, or twirl my hair. I don't know. It's challenging at my age, finding out later in life as well,” she said, noting she hopes she can be a “positive influence for other neurodivergent” individuals. “It feels good to, I don't know, be myself.”
Anthony Hopkins
The acclaimed actor announced in January 2017 that he was diagnosed with Asperger’s, a form of autism.
“My wife was attempting to understand the person she was married to and she read a newsletter from a psychotherapist,” Hopkins told the Desert Sun in an interview, noting that individuals with the condition “tend to be creative or severely impaired.”
“I'm not sure if that applies to me, but I know I can never be truly at rest,” he explained. “I tend to juggle multiple tasks. I decide I won't paint, and then I'll spend 24 hours painting.”
Daryl Hannah
The Blade Runner actress spoke openly in September 2013 about receiving an autism diagnosis as a child and its effect on her career in Hollywood.
“I've never been comfortable being the focal point of attention. It has always unnerved me,” she told People in September 2013, adding that she would decline promotional talk show appearances because she was “terrified.”
“I squandered so much time feeling afraid, self-conscious, and insecure,” she added.
Elon Musk
In May 2021, the entrepreneur shared he was diagnosed with Asperger’s when he was young.
“I don't always have much vocal inflection or variety in how I speak … which I'm told makes for excellent comedy,” he said while hosting Saturday Night Live at the time. “I am, in fact, making history tonight as the first person with Asperger’s to host SNL.”
Susan Boyle
The Britain’s Got Talent singer spoke candidly in December 2013 about being diagnosed with Asperger’s.
“It is a relief. Asperger’s does not define me,” she explained to The Guardian. “It’s a condition I must live with and manage, but I feel more at ease with myself. People will have a greater understanding of who I am and why I act the way I do.”
Dan Aykroyd
Aykroyd shared in December 2013 that he was diagnosed with Asperger’s in the early 80s after his wife encouraged him to consult a doctor.
“Among my symptoms was my fixation on ghosts and law enforcement — I carry a police badge with me, for instance,” he told The Daily Mail. “I became engrossed by Hans Holzer, the most renowned ghost hunter ever. That's when the concept for my film Ghostbusters originated.”
Wentworth Miller
The Prison Break actor revealed in July 2021 that he received an autism diagnosis as an adult.
“This isn't something I would change … being autistic is fundamental to my identity. To everything I've accomplished/expressed,” he wrote via Instagram. “I don't know enough about autism. (There is a lot to learn.) Currently, my focus is on deepening my comprehension. Re-examining five decades of lived experience through a new perspective.”
Courtney Love
In a 1994 interview with Rolling Stone, Love mentioned that she had autism.
“At a young age, I would not speak,” she explained. “Then I simply flourished. My initial visit to a psychiatrist occurred when I was, like, three. Observational therapy. TM for toddlers. You name it, I've experienced it.”
Sia
The “Unstoppable” vocalist disclosed she was on the spectrum in May 2023.
“For 45 years, I felt like, ‘I have to put my human disguise on,’” she said on an episode of “Rob Has a Podcast.” “And it's only in the past two years that I have become entirely, fully myself.”
Tyler Baltierra
The Teen Mom personality discussed being diagnosed with autism at age 33.
“It felt like a significant sense of relief. Then I grew very sad and thought, ‘Wow,’” he said during an August 2025 episode of his and wife Catelynn Baltierra’s “Cate & Ty Break It Down” podcast. “I just reflected on all the experiences I had as a child. I felt such sorrow for that little kid who wondered, ‘What is wrong with me? Something is amiss, why am I not normal?’”
Tyler added that his test results indicated he was on the spectrum and his doctor explained that he “scored exceptionally high in masking.”
Nathan Sykes
Nathan Sykes, a former member of the boy band The Wanted, revealed in October 2025 that his autism diagnosis helped him comprehend and accept himself.
“I believe the diagnosis was immensely beneficial in helping me understand myself and enabling me to process that, and I think accept myself,” he said on the British talk show Lorraine. “For such a long time, I always felt there was a part of me I didn't quite grasp, and I've declined so many opportunities because I wasn't sure how I would function in certain situations and I always felt quite unpredictable.”
Sykes added that receiving his diagnosis aided him in mourning the loss of former bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away in 2020 at age 33 after battling stage IV glioblastoma.
“I think with autism, everyone experiences it uniquely, so everyone will react differently in various situations. It's not a universal experience, but for me, I struggle to comprehend emotions and interpret emotional cues,” he explained.
