Former Good Morning America presenters T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are anticipating their 2026 wedding — and have already mapped out their momentous occasion.
“The couple desires a destination celebration to avoid intense media scrutiny,” an insider close to the pair exclusively informed Us Weekly. “Their intention is not for their wedding to become a spectacle. They envision a modest, private affair with a maximum of 50 to 100 attendees.”
The informant revealed that potential venues for the engaged duo include Turks and Caicos, Paris, and Tulum.
“A June 2026 date has been floated,” the source further stated, clarifying that “no final decision has been made at this time.”
The engagement of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes followed their ‘GMA3’ controversy.
The duo revealed their engagement during the October 14 broadcast of their iHeartRadio “Amy & TJ” podcast.
“We’re letting everyone know that we are engaged and have been for roughly a month,” Robach, 52, conveyed during the announcement.
“Our intention was to inform you all directly before any third party could,” Holmes, 48, commented. “We’ve certainly gained insight from previous experiences concerning our relationship,” a clear reference to their past rumored romance.
An exclusive source told Us previously that the couple revealed their engagement news to their inner circle at a private gathering.
“They hosted a small, intimate party for their closest friends and relatives, where they confirmed their engagement and plans to marry,” the insider reported then. “Indeed, a wedding is on the horizon.”
Reports emerged of the former GMA3 colleagues’ romance in late 2022, at a time when Robach was wed to Andrew Shue and Holmes to Marilee Fiebig. Us exclusively reported in January 2023 that both were officially dismissed from their positions at ABC following the controversy.
“Given that their relationship became public knowledge through the supposed affair, they are convinced their connection is not superficial,” the source conveyed to Us regarding their impending marriage, addressing speculations that their engagement is merely a publicity stunt.

Beyond a possible location and timeframe, the couple’s preparations extend further — the insider revealed Robach has also contemplated her bridal attire and who will accompany her down the aisle.
“Her gown will be understated and sophisticated.
