Fresh information is surfacing concerning the most recent apprehension of Home Improvement alum Zachery Ty Bryan.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office reported that both the actor and his partner, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, were taken into custody on Saturday, November 29, following an occurrence near Fall Creek, Oregon.
“Around 12:30 p.m. on November 29th, Lane County Sheriff’s deputies arrived after receiving a call about reckless endangerment near milepost 5 of Big Fall Creek Road, a well-known camping spot northeast of Lowell,” law enforcement stated in a Facebook release. “Officers discovered that Zachery Ty Bryan, 44, from Eugene, was in a pickup truck with Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, also of Eugene, and their three young children. They were observed driving within the vicinity.”
Police indicated that Bryan exited the vehicle and proceeded on foot along a road.

Officers questioned both Bryan and his partner and reportedly noted indications that “both individuals were under the influence.”
Authorities also spoke with witnesses present at the location. Due to a previous court directive, law enforcement stated Bryan was prohibited from interacting with Cartwright.
“Following further inquiry, Cartwright was taken into custody on charges of Attempted Assault in the 1st Degree, three counts of Recklessly Endangering, and DUII,” police summarized in their declaration. “Bryan was apprehended for breaching his probation related to an initial charge of Assault in the 4th Degree. The children involved were subsequently entrusted to a relative.”
Per online judicial documents accessed by Us Weekly, both individuals were still detained as of Monday, December 1. There is no clear indication if Bryan or Cartwright have secured legal counsel to speak for them.
Bryan appeared with Tim Allen on the ABC comedy series Home Improvement throughout its run from 1991 to 1999.
