How The Devil Wears Prada Sparked Stanley Tucci's Love Story with His Wife

Stanley Tucci can credit his role in The Devil Wears Prada for leading him to his wife, Felicity Blunt.
Tucci collaborated with Felicity’s younger sister, Emily Blunt, in the 2006 dramedy. Before marrying Felicity, Stanley was wed to Kathryn “Kate” Tucci (née Spath) from 1995 until her passing in 2009 due to breast cancer.
“You never stop grieving,” he reflected on his first wife’s death during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning in January 2021. “It’s still hard after 11 years. It’s still hard. And it will always be hard. But you can’t let it … and she would never want any of us to ever wallow in that grief and let it take over our lives. She would never want that. She wasn’t like that.”
Stanley and Kate were parents to twins Isabel and Nicolo, and daughter Camilla. He commended Felicity for embracing the role of stepmother to his children after their union.

“It is not easy to find somebody who is going to take on three teenagers and a widower. That’s a lot,” Stanley conveyed to The Guardian in August 2017 about his second wife. “But she was willing to take on that challenge. She cares for the kids as if they are her own, and it is a tough role, being a stepparent.”
Stanley and Felicity have since expanded their shared family, welcoming children Matteo and Emilia.
