Howard Stern defends himself after Kim Kardashian accuses him of fabricating her Paris robbery story.
Howard Stern has mounted a defense after Kim Kardashian criticized comments he made regarding her Paris robbery.
"She accused me of alleging that she fabricated her Paris robbery attempt during the latest episode of her show," Stern, 71, said on Tuesday, December 9, on the SiriusXM broadcast of The Howard Stern Show. "She is clearly very emotional about it."
The radio host then proceeded to play a segment from a recent installment of The Kardashians, which streams on Hulu.
"Howard Stern, for instance, famously mocked it continually, claiming it was just, 'I'm sick and it's such a joke and I made it all up.' I remember," Kardashian, 45, stated. "He was incredibly resistant to believe it."
Kim Kardashian’s Paris Robbery Trial Begins: What to Know
During his recent radio program, Stern chose to reference past broadcasts to locate precisely what he had said on air. After retrieving the recording, the host attempted to clarify his position.
"If this woman was robbed at gunpoint by several individuals who confined her to a bathtub and restrained her or whatever actions they took, that is genuinely terrifying," Stern said on an October 2026 episode of his radio show. "If it is a fabrication, then they should truly face prison time for that."
When his cohost Robin Quivers expressed her belief that it was not a fake account, Stern concurred, saying, "I don't believe so either."
At the time, Stern did make a joke about the fact that security footage related to the incident was highly limited.
"The only time the Kardashians don't have a camera present, something intriguing occurs," he remarked.
In his most recent show, however, Stern maintained that Kardashian's interpretation of his past comments was inaccurate.
"If anything, I would propose — and please correct me if I'm mistaken — I would categorize that conversation as a very unbiased evaluation acknowledging that some people were claiming it was fake, which was true at the time. We then stated, 'We don't believe it's fake. We think she went through something terrible,'" Stern explained. "Some individuals came into her room, forced her into a bathtub, and held her at gunpoint, which I described as 'truly frightening.'"
Out of all the controversial remarks Stern has made over his career spanning decades, he expressed surprise that his comments regarding Kardashian's robbery were the ones creating headlines.
"I have made so many awful statements during my career," he joked. "You don't need to exaggerate or invent things. You can certainly locate every terrible thing I've said. It's not hidden."

"I am profoundly grateful to the French authorities for pursuing justice in this case," she conveyed via the AP. "The crime was the single most terrifying experience of my entire life, leaving a lasting impact on my family and me. While I will never forget what transpired, I strongly believe in the value of personal growth and accountability, and I pray for healing for everyone. I remain committed to championing justice and advocating for an equitable legal system."
