Irwin Siblings Keep Steve Irwin's Legacy Alive

He remains cherished in their memories. Bindi Irwin and Robert Irwin have frequently honored their late father, Steve Irwin, throughout the years following his tragic passing.

Steve — known as a devoted wildlife conservationist and popular TV figure — tragically passed away at 44 years old after a stingray barb strike in September 2006. His legacy lived on through his children and his spouse, Terri Irwin.

Even though Bindi and Robert were merely 8 and 2 when their dad passed away, they have since embraced and furthered his work in numerous significant and minor capacities. Currently, the family maintains operations at the Australia Zoo, an institution founded by Steve’s parents during the 1970s.
