Is Don Jr.'s Wedding to Bettina Anderson Really Happening?
Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s upcoming marriage might not be a certainty.
“Bettina is incredibly delighted to be engaged to Don, and they’ve already begun discussing wedding plans,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “She has desired this from the beginning and knew he was her ideal partner. She appreciates how he has integrated her into his children’s lives and is a wonderful father.”
Trump, 47, announced his engagement to Anderson, 39, during a holiday celebration at the White House on December 15. Video footage from the event showed Trump expressing gratitude to Anderson, saying, “for that one word — yes” as he addressed the party guests.
“She responded ‘yes,’ which is a significant victory for the end of the year,” Don Jr., who attended the gathering alongside his father, President Donald Trump, continued.

Meanwhile, Anderson described it as “the most unforgettable weekend of her life,” adding that she “gets to marry the man of her dreams. She feels incredibly fortunate.”
The source tells Us that Don Jr. “had intended to propose to her” and informed his father and siblings, including brothers Eric, 41, and Barron, 19, and sisters Ivanka, 44, and Tiffany, 32.
“Ivanka has developed a close bond with Bettina and strongly encouraged the engagement. They have become close friends through numerous family trips,” the insider continues.
Regarding when Don Jr. and Anderson plan to exchange vows, the source says, “The wedding will be scheduled around Don and his father’s demanding schedules. They want [Donald’s wife, first lady Melania Trump] and Donald to be present and have ample time to enjoy the occasion.”
“Bettina has been prioritizing her well-being through exercise, facials, massages, and generally feeling healthy,” the insider continues. “Therefore, she feels confident about walking down the aisle sooner rather than later.”
Melania, 55, and Ivanka have also assisted Anderson in refining her fashion sense in anticipation of the wedding.
“She has significantly increased her focus on fashion since dating Don and often follows Melania and Ivanka’s style guidance,” the insider reveals. “She utilizes various stylists for events and has already begun discussing her wedding dress and all the dresses she will wear for the special day.”
The source adds, “Her ring is exquisite, and she can’t stop smiling and radiating joy. Don is her ideal man, and the entire family has been incredibly welcoming to her.”
Don Jr.’s family isn’t the only group that approves of the relationship. A second source close to the businessman tells Us that his “closest circle of friends have all grown to like Bettina, believe they are a good match, and have become very protective of her.”
A third insider notes that the engagement was a surprise to friends outside of his inner circle.

“He really kept it private,” the insider shares. “Don Jr. has felt from the very beginning that Bettina is The One. Like, completely captivated, breathtaking type of feeling.”
Us reached out to representatives for Don Jr. and Anderson for comment.
Don Jr. and Anderson were initially linked in late 2024. The couple later made their red carpet debut at a pre-Super Bowl party in February.
Prior to his relationship with Anderson, Don Jr. was married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018. The former couple share children Kai, 18, Donald III, 16, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11.
Don Jr. was also previously connected to former Fox News cohost Kimberly Guilfoyle. The pair became engaged in 2020 after two years of dating, but they subsequently ended their relationship in 2024.
Meanwhile, Anderson reportedly dated Beau Wrigley Jr., the heir to the Wrigley gum fortune, in 2017.
