Isabela Ferrer Makes First Public Appearance Amidst Legal Battle with Justin Baldoni
Isabela Ferrer was seen in public for the first time since her legal dispute involving Justin Baldoni.
The 24-year-old Ferrer attended New York Fashion Week on September 13, specifically present at the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Spring 2026 Presentation held at Surrogate’s Court.
The star of It Ends With Us was dressed entirely in black, complemented by a coordinating handbag. Ferrer styled her hair flowing loosely with its natural wavy texture.
Besides Ferrer, other celebrities like Ashlee Simpson, Nicky Hilton, Liz Gillies, and Brooks Nader were also observed at the fashion gathering.
Isabela Ferrer Claims Justin Baldoni Is 'Harassing' Her Regarding a Subpoena
This public outing by Ferrer occurs just a month after she alleged that Baldoni was “harassing” her concerning a subpoena, within the context of his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively.
Ferrer portrayed the younger counterpart of Lively’s character in the movie adaptation based on Colleen Hoover’s book. Prior to this, Ferrer had expressed enjoying her collaboration with Baldoni during what was her debut significant film role.
As per court filings acquired by Us Weekly in August, Ferrer’s legal counsel asserted that Baldoni’s subpoena and accompanying motion were "obvious attempts to pressure Ms. Ferrer." Ferrer presented these claims in reply to Baldoni's motion, which stated that the actress had been inaccessible and uncommunicative.
“Baldoni has attempted to manipulate, intimidate, control, and otherwise behave improperly towards Ms. Ferrer,” her lawyers stated in the documents.
Ferrer’s legal representatives requested the court to reject Baldoni’s motion and impose penalties on him.
After Ferrer’s reply, Baldoni’s legal team sent a letter to the judge refuting Ferrer’s allegations of harassment. Baldoni’s counsel contended that Lively had initially issued a subpoena to Ferrer in February, which Ferrer’s attorney had accepted.
Baldoni’s attorneys stated they issued their own subpoena for Ferrer to acquire "documents she either failed to provide or that Lively’s team did not request." The letter indicated that Baldoni’s team sought this information from Ferrer’s lawyer "on two occasions," which reportedly went "unanswered."

The legal conflict between Lively and Baldoni commenced in December 2024 when the actress charged her It Ends With Us costar and director with sexual harassment, fostering an unfriendly workplace, and deliberately orchestrating a smear campaign against her. Baldoni rejected these accusations and filed a countersuit against Lively.
Baldoni’s lawsuit was thrown out by the judge in June. Lively’s complaint, however, continues and is slated for trial in March 2026.
In preparation for the trial, Lively underwent a deposition by Baldoni’s legal counsel in July. Lively’s acquaintance Taylor Swift was also expected to be deposed in October, but the judge rejected Baldoni’s plea for more time.
