Jennifer Lawrence admits Kourtney Kardashian exasperates her despite her love for the family.
While Jennifer Lawrence openly adores The Kardashians, her admiration doesn't extend to every member of the renowned family.
During Vanity Fair’s widely viewed lie detector segment, published on YouTube on Friday, November 7, Robert Pattinson, her costar in Die My Love, questioned Lawrence, presenting a photo of Khloé Kardashian and inquiring, “Is this individual your top Kardashian?”
The 35-year-old Lawrence promptly affirmed, “Yes,” subsequently offering her candid opinion on a different well-known Kardashian sibling.
She went on to state, “Kourtney [Kardashian] has become increasingly irksome,” surprising her costar. “She really exasperates me.”

“What’s the reason?” queried the 39-year-old Pattinson.
She clarified, “It’s because she insists on making everything a public statement.” She elaborated, “For instance, ‘I’m no longer wearing outfits.’ Simply dress as you please; there’s no need to declare it. Or, ‘I don’t keep a television in my bedroom.’ Just refrain from watching TV. Cease the public announcements. Simply, quiet.”
Lawrence has long admired the celebrated Kardashian/Jenner clan, even making a surreptitious appearance in an installment of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The Academy Award-winning performer had a brief role in the 2019 episode “Legally Brunette,” where she was observed engaging in a FaceTime conversation with Kourtney’s former partner, Scott Disick, inside Khloé’s garage.
During that episode, Disick telephoned the family’s matriarch, Kris Jenner, seeking her opinion on Khloé’s artwork, a part of the program’s then-trendy “transform Koko into an artist” gimmick. Unexpectedly, Lawrence picked up the call.
“I’ve taken Kris’s place,” the actress informed Disick. “My affection for all of you runs deep, and you bring me joy constantly. You’re performing wonderfully, darling!”
For those unaware, Lawrence and Kris share a long-standing friendship. In 2015, the celebrated momager conveyed birthday greetings to her “little piece of s” friend, Lawrence, on Instagram.
Jenner’s message at that moment read, “Happy Birthday you piece of s… God I love you #Jenniferlawrence thanks for making this night a night to remember….even if we did get caught… I love you Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!!” She also posted an image of them lounging on an expansive bed, their legs intertwined, both clutching books.
By 2017, Jenner disclosed that following an abundance of selected beverages, Lawrence eventually found herself unclothed within her wardrobe.

“She had a break from work, so I invited her for an evening meal,” Jenner recounted to daytime personality Steve Harvey in a discussion. “We began enjoying several drinks and were having a wonderful time. And, as women often do when gathered, we wound up in my walk-in closet — examining garments and various items, and she began trying on some pieces.”
Upon being questioned by the host regarding how the actress came to be “naked in this damn closet,” Jenner casually clarified that Lawrence “simply removed her jeans and proceeded.” Jenner attributed the incident to their consumption of “22 martinis.”
Regarding the unconventional meeting of the two, Jenner revealed during the same discussion that because Lawrence was an avid follower of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, her acquaintances orchestrated a birthday surprise for her from Jenner some years earlier.
“When I appeared with the cake, she was immensely thrilled to see me, and from that point, we developed a minor texting camaraderie,” Jenner stated then. “It was enjoyable. She’s a truly wonderful person.”
