Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei Finalize Divorce Following The Valley Premiere
Reality television personalities Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei, known from The Valley, have finalized their divorce proceedings, a development exclusively revealed by Us Weekly.
Court documents submitted by Lally, 43, on Wednesday, October 22, confirmed to the judiciary that both individuals had signed their divorce agreement.
“A written accord concerning assets, marital obligations, and financial provisions has been reached between the parties, with the original submitted to the court for review. I seek the court's endorsement of this arrangement,” the legal submission stated.
This agreement, awaiting official court submission, includes provisions for child support payments for their daughter, Isabella, who was born in 2020. The specific financial sum remains confidential.
Under the terms of the settlement, neither former spouse will seek alimony from the other. Judicial approval for the arrangement is still pending.
Reached for a statement, Lally shared with Us, “Michelle and I have completed the final stage in our divorce process. We are now proceeding with reciprocal regard and dedicating ourselves to creating cherished moments with Isabella.”
Saniei communicated to Us, “I am thankful that we have come to a resolution, allowing us both to begin fresh chapters. Isabella has always been our primary focus, and we will persist in co-parenting to provide her with the best possible upbringing.”
Saniei initiated divorce proceedings against Jesse on March 1, 2024, concluding their five-year marital union. Her rationale for the dissolution was stated as “irreconcilable differences.” The legal documents recorded their wedding date as October 12, 2018, and their separation date as October 16, 2023.
Within her petition, Saniei requested that the court grant her shared legal and physical custody of their child. Lally's counter-filing indicated his concurrence with Saniei's suggestion for joint custody. He also affirmed the stated date of their separation.
Both Saniei and Lally informed the judiciary that prospects for rekindling their relationship were nonexistent.
Jesse from The Valley Forms Connection with Ex-Wife Michelle's New Partner During Cast Excursion
Us Weekly was the first to report Saniei and Lally's separation just days prior to the debut of The Valley.
During April 2024, Saniei openly discussed the breakdown of her marital relationship on the podcast “When Reality Hits,” hosted by her fellow The Valley cast member, Brittany Cartwright.
“The production of [The Valley] took place last summer, concluding in September [2023],” Saniei clarified. “Early in October, I informed Jesse that our relationship was unsustainable and expressed my intention to seek a divorce.”
She elaborated, “Jesse and I have effectively been separated since October, and from that point onward, we were at liberty to pursue other romantic interests and personal endeavors.”
Saniei informed Cartwright, 36, that she was prepared to submit the legal documents immediately following their decision to end the relationship.
“My commitment is steadfast. I have initiated the divorce process, and it is underway. We are currently navigating it, with the hope that it will be concluded before the year's end,” she stated then. “As of now, court appearances are not required, as we largely concur on all matters. Ideally, we can avoid court and achieve finality. My aspiration is to finalize this and progress with my life.”
Subsequent to their separation, Lally embarked on a new relationship with his partner, Lacy Nicole. Their romance became public at the beginning of 2024.
Michelle from The Valley Expresses Uncertainty Regarding Participating in Future Seasons Alongside Jesse
During July, Saniei ended her relationship with her boyfriend, Aaron Nosler, following a year together. An insider informed Us that Saniei was “relocating” from Nosler’s residence in anticipation of the third season of The Valley starting production.
According to earlier reports by Us, Jax Taylor, a fellow cast member of Jesse and Michelle, will not be participating in the third season due to his commitment to sobriety.
