The preview for the Jonas Brothers' anticipated holiday movie, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, suggests that Joe Jonas might be experiencing a newfound romance.
Unveiled on Monday, November 3, the clip features Joe, 36, informing his siblings Nick and Kevin Jonas that he “encountered” Lucy, portrayed by Chloe Bennet, a character with whom he appears to share a past romantic connection. (In the movie, Joe, Kevin, 37, and Nick, 33, embody exaggerated versions of their public personas.)
Joe admits to his brothers, “We had a connection,” regarding Lucy, prompting Kevin to inquire, “How many connections have you had this month?” and Nick to playfully retort, “Joe isn’t capable of counting that high.”
Although Joe remains unattached in the movie, Nick and Kevin are portrayed as contentedly wedded to their spouses, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Danielle Jonas, in that order. Notably, both Priyanka, 43, and Danielle, 39, appear briefly in the teaser, engaging in FaceTime conversations with their husbands about their festive arrangements.

A touch of mayhem ensues when the Jonas Brothers find themselves stranded in London just 48 hours before Christmas, resolute in their mission to return home for holiday festivities with their families.
Kevin exclaims, “I cannot miss Christmas,” following the destruction of their intended aircraft by a lightning strike.
Nick dryly remarks, “That’s an astonishingly distinct characteristic of yours, Kevin.” He adds, “No one is able to miss Christmas. Have you ever watched a Christmas movie? That&s the whole point of the story.”
Following a hurried attempt to catch a train from London to Paris, Nick's directions lead the three astray, landing them in Amsterdam. Ultimately, they decide to pilot an aircraft themselves. “Guys, I can handle this; I know Glen Powell from Top Gun,” Joe announces as he settles into the cockpit and grips the controls. Regardless of his assurance, the plane crash-lands in a forest, where the siblings encounter a group of ravenous wolves.
According to the official summary, “After a series of travel mishaps leaves the Jonas Brothers stuck in London mere days before Christmas, the brothers embark on a frantic journey across the Atlantic to reunite with their families in New York.” The synopsis continues, “Every obstacle is met with their characteristic sibling humor and spectacular musical performances, transforming their adventure into an uplifting event filled with laughter, fellowship, and festive spirit.”

Beyond the Jonas Brothers and Bennet, 33, the movie's cast includes Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, Kenny G, Justin Tranter, Randall Park, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
“The Jonas Brothers are turning this into a family event, featuring several special appearances from the Jonas family,” Disney hinted in a statement to the press.
Viewers were delighted by the sight of the trio performing in the trailer, with one YouTube commenter remarking, “This appears to be something they enjoyed creating. Eagerly anticipating its release.”
