Joe Manganiello and Caitlin O'Connor Trade Hollywood for Hometown Charm
Actors Joe Manganiello and his fiancée Caitlin O’Connor have exchanged their L.A. lifestyle for a location with deep personal significance.
“For more than two decades, L.A. served as home for both of us,” O’Connor, 36, commented regarding herself and Manganiello, 48, during a conversation with People released on Thursday, December 4. “Though I was born in Los Angeles, I grew up in Pittsburgh, making it our shared origin.”
O’Connor verified that she and the Magic Mike star recently moved from Los Angeles to a suburban area outside Pittsburgh. O’Connor shared that she and Manganiello were looking forward to being nearer to their origins.
“Our shared upbringing and understanding of our hometown is a significant point of connection for us, defining our bond as a couple,” she clarified. “Therefore, returning to our roots alongside each other is wonderful.”

O’Connor mentioned that the choice to relocate was not an “impulsive” one for the pair.
“This has been on our minds for some time,” she elaborated.
The actress also spoke glowingly of the neighborhood she shares with Manganiello, describing it as resembling a “picture postcard.”
“I haven't encountered a more picturesque area within Pittsburgh,” she stated. “It possesses an undeniable charm.”
O’Connor mused about their adjustment to the new environment and landscape, particularly during the winter season.
“Just yesterday, I observed Joe clearing snow from our driveway for two and a half hours. And I must say, it was incredibly attractive,” she joked.

Manganiello and O’Connor first met in September 2023 at an event following the premiere of her HBO show Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. This encounter took place two months subsequent to Manganiello's separation from his former spouse, Sofia Vergara.
“We have arrived at the challenging conclusion to end our marriage,” Manganiello and Vergara, 52, conveyed in a shared Instagram announcement then. “As individuals who hold deep affection and regard for each other, we respectfully request privacy as we transition into this next chapter of our lives.”
Us Weekly reported that Manganiello and Vergara’s divorce proceedings were concluded in April 2024.
In December 2023, three months following their first introduction, Manganiello and O’Connor appeared together officially on the red carpet at the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) gala.
“Joe and Caitlin possess such relaxed temperaments that they form a highly compatible duo,” an insider revealed exclusively to Us about their bond at that point, further mentioning that O’Connor is not a “demanding” individual. “She's not known for heavy drinking or frequenting parties.”

This October, the couple revealed their engagement following two years of courtship.
“June 24th, 2025,” Manganiello and O’Connor posted collaboratively on Instagram then, showcasing themselves with their chihuahua, Bubbles, and O’Connor’s engagement ring prominently visible.
