Kaia Gerber Opens Up About Healing Romance with Lewis Pullman

Kaia Gerber has publicly spoken about her developing romance with Lewis Pullman for the very first time.

During her guest appearance on the “Therapuss With Jake Shane” podcast, broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, the accomplished actress and model shared insights into her current partner, confessing, “This relationship is certainly proving to be very healing for me.”

After host Jake Shane commented on the perceived “healthiness” of Gerber, 24, and Pullman’s, 32, connection, the Bottoms actress emotionally exclaimed, “I’m going to cry!”

Gerber subsequently recommended to her audience the benefits of dating a friend, hinting that her connection with the Thunderbolts star initially began as a platonic friendship before evolving into a romantic partnership.

“I truly believe that if the chance arises to pursue a romantic relationship with a friend, you should seize it, as it significantly enhances the experience,” she elaborated. “I have no desire to argue with my friends, nor do I wish to be upset with them. I hold immense respect for my friends. It simply operates on an entirely different level, and I find that sometimes, when you deeply love someone, you might lose sight of the initial fondness.”

“It’s advisable to date your friends if possible, or at least choose someone you would naturally befriend,” Gerber elaborated. “Avoid entering a relationship solely based on sexual attraction or infatuation. While engaging in intimacy with such individuals is perfectly fine, it doesn’t necessitate making them your long-term companions.”

Prior to her romance with Pullman, Gerber’s past relationships included public associations with personalities such as Pete Davidson, 31, Jacob Elordi, 28, and most recently, Austin Butler, 34.

On her podcast interview on Wednesday, the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber confessed to frequently altering her persona to suit her older partners.

“I used to completely transform my personality and beliefs for the sake of a partner. Since I consistently dated older individuals, I was always prepared to sacrifice everything,” Gerber stated. “My mindset was, ‘I’ll demonstrate my love by entirely dedicating my life to you,’ which, in reality, doesn’t foster respect or trust, and proves detrimental over time.”

“Eventually, as you begin to reveal more of your authentic self within the relationship, they might react with, ‘No, I preferred who you were previously,’” she continued.
