Kaitlyn Bristowe and Zac Clark Fuel Romance Rumors with NYC Marathon Day Appearances
Kaitlyn Bristowe arrived in New York City while her speculated partner, Zac Clark, participated in the 2025 New York City Marathon.
“Watching a marathon is challenging,” the 40-year-old Bristowe posted on her Instagram Story on Sunday, November 2, sharing a photo with fellow Bachelor Nation personality Serena Pitt. Both women were pictured holding glasses of sparkling beverage, grinning at the lens.
Pitt was there to cheer on her husband, Joe Amabile, also a Bachelor Nation alumnus, who completed the race in 3 hours, 49 minutes, and 53 seconds. Bristowe, on the other hand, was presumably rooting for Clark, 41, who successfully ran the 26.2-mile course in 3 hours, 27 minutes, and 33 seconds.
Speculation surrounding Bristowe and Clark’s romance first arose in January 2024, after they were seen together celebrating New Year’s Eve at her residence in Nashville. Subsequent to that, Bristowe backed Clark during his participation in the 2024 New York City Marathon. Following Clark's Instagram update detailing his motivation for running, Bristowe left a comment stating, “You are one bright ass light.”
Bristowe had previously been engaged to Shawn Booth for a period of three years, with the pair ending their relationship in 2018. She then entered a relationship with Jason Tartick, from whom she separated in 2023 following four years as a couple. Clark, for his part, was once engaged to former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams. Their relationship concluded in 2021.
While Bristowe and Clark have yet to officially acknowledge or refute their relationship, the previous Bachelorette has alluded to their connection in various discussions. On an August 2024 episode of the “U Up?” podcast, Bristowe recounted contacting a woman after she had gone on a date with her "Bachelor Nation" former partner. (Bristowe refrained from explicitly mentioning Adams or Clark during the conversation.)
Bristowe stated that the woman responded by saying, “I always believed you were a terrible individual, and you’ve proven it. Your real nature is becoming evident.” Bristowe ended the call, reflecting, “Now, I just want to send her a picture of me sucking his d.”
Bristowe subsequently faced criticism for her statements, later issuing an apology for the "impression" her comments created. Within her “Off the Vine” Facebook group, Bristowe penned, “My brand of humor doesn’t resonate with everyone.”
All the Signs Pointing to a Romance Between Bachelor Nation’s Kaitlyn Bristowe and Zac Clark
During an August interview with Us Weekly regarding her romantic situation, Bristowe elaborated on her choice to maintain discretion about her current status.
“Discretion is incredibly appealing; I find the act of being private quite stimulating. There's an inherent uniqueness and sanctity to it,” Bristowe revealed then. “Clearly, I've experienced two highly public relationships, and I tend to overshare and am quite an open book, making it challenging to withhold aspects of my life, yet this feels absolutely correct. Romances originating from the Bachelor franchise or with individuals online can, at times, begin to feel somewhat theatrical. I believe that was the direction things were heading for me previously, and it didn't sit well.”
She added, “Therefore, this time … I'm thinking, ‘Listen, I've just reached 40. I am at the most favorable point in my life in all areas — personally, professionally, spiritually, in a positive state, and safeguarding my tranquility may require some discretion.’ And I fully embrace that.”
