Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross Eye Fall Parenthood With a Touch of Nervous Excitement
Kaity Biggar disclosed the timeline for her and husband Zach Shallcross to begin their family journey, acknowledging that the prospect brings a degree of apprehension.
In a Q&A session on Instagram Stories held on Tuesday, October 7, Biggar, aged 30, responded to an inquiry about her desired timing for commencing parenthood with the former Bachelor, 29.
“I anticipate next fall, I believe,” she stated. “I am incredibly eager to expand our family, however, I feel a slight unease!”
The nurse further mentioned that she still feels “like a child” herself.

Biggar and Shallcross, whose engagement took place during the 27th season of The Bachelor in 2023, have previously deliberated on the number of children they aspire to have.
“Ultimately, my body’s signals will be my primary guide,” Biggar remarked on an installment of Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt’s iHeartRadio “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast that aired in June. “Definitely two, and subsequently we will evaluate the challenges we face. Perhaps we will welcome a third.”
Biggar indicated that they are also “99 percent certain” they anticipate having twins.
“There are multiple instances of twins on both sides of our families, making it highly probable for us,” he commented.
In June, Us Weekly verified that Shallcross and Biggar had privately married in Austin, Texas, the preceding month. Soon after this information became public, the recently wedded couple shared a video commemorating their significant day, accompanied by their personal vows.

“However, what I value most is your acceptance of me precisely as I am. Consequently, I have never experienced a greater sense of recognition, safety, or conviction regarding anything in my existence,” he articulated. “I express gratitude daily for the woman placed in my life. A woman who is considerate, attentive to all, delightfully spirited, amusing, and possesses numerous other admirable traits. I am fortunate. I am privileged to have you before me as my wife. I had not believed it feasible in my lifetime to share a love like ours with a woman such as you. Heaven has genuinely fulfilled my desires.”
Biggar, in turn, echoed similar emotions to Shallcross within her matrimonial promises.
“Zach, today I stand here not merely as your wife. I stand as your lifelong companion, your most ardent supporter, and your closest confidant,” she enthused. “Our romantic narrative has been far from conventional. It has been wonderfully unforeseen, flawlessly flawed, and distinctly ours. You have undeniably been my grandest and most treasured journey, and I eagerly anticipate discovering where life leads us.
