Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Divorce After 11 Years Together
Former Real Housewives Of Atlanta personality Kandi Burruss and her spouse Todd Tucker have ended their marital journey following 11 years together.
“Following extensive contemplation and much prayer, I have resolved to proceed with a divorce. This period is challenging and emotionally taxing, yet my priority remains safeguarding my serenity, excelling as a mother, and collaborating in parenting with affection and mutual regard,” Burruss, aged 49, conveyed in remarks to Us Weekly on Friday, November 21. “I am commencing a fresh phase, dedicating myself to my career, my loved ones, and my personal development. My thanks go out to all who stood by us over the years, and I request discretion, compassion, and comprehension as our family navigates this shift.”
The announcement of the couple’s separation, initially disclosed by People, surfaced less than seven days after Burruss attended BravoCon 2025 solo, without her spouse.
Upon receiving the Wifetime Achievement Award, the Atlanta-based star expressed gratitude to Tucker, who is 52, for his steadfast backing.

“To Todd, I appreciate you enduring the online gossip, the subtle jabs, the speculation, the falsehoods, the realities, the arguments, the near-arguments … and the reunions,” she quipped. “This honor is equally yours.”
Burruss first appeared on RHOA in 2009 for its second season and eventually discovered love anew through the program. (Burruss was a single parent to her daughter Riley, now 23 years old, whom she has with her former partner Russell Spencer.)

In January 2016, Burruss and Tucker grew their family with the birth of their son Ace, who is currently 9. Three years subsequently, the duo rounded out their offspring with their daughter Blaze, born through surrogacy.
“She has arrived! Blaze Tucker entered the world at 6:54 p.m. on November 22, 2019, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce,” Burruss announced in November 2019. “I am incredibly grateful to welcome another healthy, lovely baby girl into our family!”
As Burruss and Tucker dedicated themselves to building their joyful small family, Tucker frequently encountered disagreements with his mother-in-law, Mama Joyce Jones, throughout their relationship. Discord between Jones and Tucker originated when he started dating Burruss. Jones expressed disapproval of Tucker, publicly labeling him a “gold-digging opportunist” on the Bravo program.
The contention between Tucker and Jones persisted for years, yet the pair maintained civility for Burruss’ comfort. Nevertheless, Jones made a derogatory remark about Tucker at BravoCon 2022, unable to list three positive traits about him. Although emotions were strained, the two resolved their issues in the subsequent year, as stated by Burruss.
