Kate Gosselin Acknowledges Boyfriend Amidst Allegations of Past Affair
Kate Gosselin publicly acknowledged her boyfriend, Steve Neild, on social media, following accusations that their relationship began while she was still married to Jon Gosselin.
In a recent live broadcast on TikTok, Kate's current partner briefly entered the scene to bring her a coffee. Although his face wasn't visible on screen, Kate expressed her gratitude.
“A greeting to my boyfriend,” the 50-year-old Kate playfully remarked as she reviewed viewer comments, subsequently assuring her audience that “he acknowledged them” from outside the camera's view.
Questioned about the possibility of collaborating with her partner for a video, Kate paused. “He isn't particularly keen on it,” she confessed. “I'm not saying it will never happen, but he's not entirely enthusiastic about being in the public eye in this way. Time will tell.”
When a different admirer posted, “You should be cherished like royalty,” Kate replied, “I concur.”

Kate garnered attention on September 22 after discussing her romantic life during a TikTok question-and-answer session, answering a follower's inquiry, “Are you in a relationship?”
“The response to that is, indeed, finally affirmative. I have been in a relationship with someone for the last year to slightly more than a year, perhaps around 14 or 15 months,” she stated. “I am exceptionally content. This is someone I've been acquainted with for a considerable period, and I am extremely pleased.”
Kate chose not to publicly disclose her partner’s name at that moment.
“He's not particularly eager to appear in TikTok videos,” she clarified. “I suppose I can't really fault him for that, but you might occasionally spot him in the background or during future clips.”
The Current Relationships Between Jon and Kate Gosselin and Their Eight Offspring.
Following a report by Page Six confirming Kate's relationship with Neild — formerly her personal security — her estranged spouse, Jon, 48, implicated Neild in the breakdown of the reality couple's marriage. (Jon and Kate tied the knot in 1999, divorced in 2009, and are parents to twins Madelyn and Cara, 24, along with sextuplets Aaden, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Collin, and Joel, 21.)
“Discover who truly caused the marriage to end,” Jon posted on Instagram on September 24, accompanying the message with an image of Kate and Neild and a capture of the Page Six piece. “See the details yourself.”
Within his social media comment, Jon further stated: “Perhaps now, when I vocalize, I will be heard!!!”
Collin, the son of Jon and Kate — who has had a strained relationship with his mother for a long time — later expanded on these claims through his Instagram Stories.

“My primary frustration stems from the fact that my mother had a relationship with our bodyguard as far back as 2009 and would, for years, share hotel accommodations with him during our family holidays, even as I was in an adjoining room!” he asserted on September 24. “Presently, people perceive her current involvement with him as a charming, new relationship. It's worth noting that my father endured threats and public condemnation for years, falsely accused of ‘having an affair’ and ‘abandoning his children.’”
Collin also stated, “I hope she doesn't attempt to dismiss this situation. She should simply come clean and speak the truth.”
Furthermore, Collin challenged Kate's assertion that she had been seeing her partner for “just over a year,” countering, “You've been involved with him for much longer.”
On the subsequent day, Collin extended an invitation to Kate to undergo a polygraph examination alongside him, stating on his Instagram Story on September 25, “That way, we'll discover who has been misleading the public.”
