Kate Gosselin Celebrates Thanksgiving Solo with Boyfriend Amidst Family Drama
Kate Gosselin spoke openly about why her Thanksgiving celebration would exclusively involve her boyfriend, Steve Neild, and none of her children.
“Honestly, how impolite. I merely inquired of [Steve] what his Thanksgiving preferences were,” Gosselin, aged 50, revealed in a TikTok clip posted on Wednesday, October 22. “We extended invitations to some of our children. Several of the children already have commitments. We are quite a distance from our residence, remember that.”
Kate — the mother of 21-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah, Collin, and Leah, as well as 25-year-old twins Mady and Cara, with her former spouse Jon Gosselin — disclosed that her offspring were attending university and lacked “sufficient time away” to visit her.

Within the TikTok's description, Kate humorously noted that Neild is aware of “her dancing prowess” stemming from her participation in the tenth season of Dancing With the Stars back in 2010.
“Truthfully, however, I would sacrifice anything to be capable of dancing at this moment (even if neither of us truly can!),” she penned.
The previous month, Kate had an operation due to a “transformative” knee injury inflicted by one of her canines.

“Meika, my young dog, collided with me at full pace, resulting in a tibial plateau fracture that required surgery involving plates and pins in my limb,” she explained in a TikTok video that a friend posted.
Beyond recovering from her operation, Kate also garnered attention when she disclosed that she had been in a relationship with a boyfriend for “just over a year.”
“The response to that inquiry is indeed, at last, affirmative,” she stated during a TikTok Q&A session in September when questioned about her romantic status. “I have been seeing someone for the past year, perhaps around 14 or 15 months. I am exceedingly content. It is an individual whom I have been acquainted with for a considerable duration, and I am tremendously pleased.”
