Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Spark Romance on PDA-Filled Getaway
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are still dating.
Perry, 41, shared a photo on Instagram on Wednesday, January 7, showing her leaning in to kiss Trudeau during a seaside vacation. The former prime minister of Canada was seen sporting a broad smile, dark sunglasses and a white T-shirt.
“Holidaze,” Perry captioned the post, which also included images from various holiday activities. One picture displayed a candlelit table set for four, with place cards reading “Katy,” “Orlando” (her former partner, Orlando Bloom), “Flynn” (Bloom’s 14-year-old son, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr) and “Daisy” (Perry and Bloom’s 5-year-old daughter).
Last month, a source told Us Weekly that “Justin and Katy will be spending New Year’s together. They are very fond of each other and enjoying their time.”

The source previously mentioned that Perry is “finding inspiration” from Trudeau and “impressed by his achievements.” He is, the insider noted, “a good match for her.”
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were first spotted together in July when the pop star brought her Lifetimes Tour to Canada. Weeks later, a source told Us that the pair were “very interested in getting to know each other” and planning to keep their relationship “discreet.”
That October, they appeared in Paris to celebrate Perry’s birthday.
“Katy is really invested in this relationship. She’s very content,” an insider revealed to Us at the time. “She’s trying to keep things quiet, and they’ve spent a lot of time together privately. She’s not eager to publicize this connection.”

In early December, Perry and Trudeau made their official debut as a couple while dining with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Trudeau separated from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the mother of his three children, in 2023 following 18 years of marriage. As for Perry, she and ex-fiancé Bloom, 48, ended their relationship in early 2025, calling off their engagement after a decade together.
“Orlando and Katy have been adjusting their relationship over the past several months to prioritize coparenting,” their representatives confirmed in a joint statement last summer. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
The former couple remain friendly, even reuniting in London over the holidays to bring Daisy and Flynn to see Paddington: The Musical at the Savoy Theatre. The group appeared in photos that were posted by the official Paddington Instagram account, which included a caption declaring, “A rather wonderful gathering if we do say so ourselves!”

Bloom discussed his split with the “Firework” singer in a recent interview on the Today show.
