These newly revealed, unconfirmed tweets surfaced in the wake of Nicole’s Halloween costume, which recreated Toni Braxton’s ensemble from her “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video, an act that similarly ignited controversy online. The video showed Nicole miming the words to a portion of Braxton’s 2000 song, a critique directed at a former partner and his current girlfriend.

I vividly recall being driven home from private school in my uniform in a police van with Taylor, and her mother was playing this very song.”
