Keith Urban cleverly sidesteps "Nicole" bomb with a Nicole Richie gag.
Keith Urban skillfully avoided a potentially uncomfortable moment during his concert when a fan unintentionally brought up his separation from Nicole Kidman.
A video, captured during the singer's High and Alive tour at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Friday, October 17, and shared on TikTok that very night, shows Urban engaging with a concert-goer.
"I won't be fond of your name?" a somewhat bewildered Urban, aged 57, inquired of the fan in the TikTok footage.
The fan replied, "It's Nicole," prompting audible gasps and chuckles from the surrounding crowd.

Urban handled the remark with good humor, bowing his head briefly before dramatically falling backward onto the stage. After a brief period of lying on the stage and waving his arm, Urban regained his seated position.
He then playfully diverted the unspoken reference to his former wife, Kidman, by humorously inquiring of the fan, "Did you mean Nicole Richie?"
"How are things, Nicole Richie?" Urban carried on, "It's A Simple Life. Is that the program's title? What show features Nicole Richie? The Simple Life."

Setting aside the jesting, Urban proceeded to assist the fan in announcing her pregnancy to her loved ones by displaying a baby romper on the large screen in a heartwarming gesture. The infant's attire bore the inscription "Smallest Keith Urban fan" on its front.
Kidman, aged 58, initiated divorce proceedings from Urban on September 30, concluding their 19-year marital union.
As per legal papers acquired by Us Weekly, the Big Little Lies star stated "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for their separation, noting their breakup date coincided with the divorce petition's submission.
Kidman sought to be designated the "primary custodial parent" for her and Urban's underage offspring, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.

"This was not Nicole's choice, and she is heartbroken," a source informed Us then. "Her faith in him was gone, and the damage was too extensive. Nicole had been striving to mend their relationship and wished to keep this matter private. She had not disclosed the true state of their relationship to many acquaintances and had kept it secret for months."
The announcement of their breakup followed months after Kidman's solo attendance at the Met Gala in May. Kidman and Urban were last observed together in public at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 match in Nashville on June 20. This appearance in Music City occurred merely five days prior to their 19th wedding anniversary.
The ex-partners first encountered each other in 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles. Precisely a year later, they exchanged vows in Manly, a suburb of Sydney.
"I assure you, she moved effortlessly across the room, as if she were floating. I can't explain how she did it," Urban remarked about his initial encounter with Kidman, recalling their meeting during a November 2010 discussion. "It was extraordinary, and for a fleeting instant, she was alone, with no one nearby, and I decided, 'I'll simply approach her and introduce myself.'"
