‘Got It Right This Time’
This track debuted on the album, Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing, in 2006, following Nicole's intervention that led Urban to rehabilitation for his substance and alcohol dependency.
“Got It Right This Time” includes lines like, “She has faith in me just as I’ve been striving to do/ I’m perceiving things I hadn’t before/ Since her arrival in my existence/ I’ve transformed into a superior man.”

There’s a greater sense of certainty than that. I possessed that complete certainty when I composed it, but as a lyricist, words are chosen for their musicality. Yet, as the song has developed and matured, so too has our marriage.”
‘Once In A Lifetime’
His 2006 album, Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing, also featured the romantic tune “Once In a Lifetime,” which he composed before his marriage ceremony with Kidman.
“Nic was experiencing considerable apprehension about marrying me. She voiced concerns like, ‘It’s a slim chance,’ [yet] I was aware of her affection and that she was merely anxious,” the country artist disclosed during a 2014 performance, as reported by American Songwriter. “I made every effort to assure her that I would be her partner indefinitely.”
