Kelley Wolf to Enter Rehab Amidst Legal Troubles and Divorce from Scott Wolf
Scott Wolf’s estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, informed a district court judge of her intention to enter a rehabilitation facility after facing arrest and three misdemeanor charges.
According to a report from People published on Tuesday, September 2, Kelley, 48, appeared in a Utah courtroom earlier that day, facing accusations of electronic communication harassment and the unauthorized sharing of private personal data, following her arrest on August 26.
The publication indicated that Kelley is now officially charged with “a single count of misdemeanor electronic communications harassment related to an incident on August 25, and two counts of misdemeanor electronic disclosure of personal identifying information linked to occurrences on August 26.”
Kelley personally detailed her plans for rehabilitation during Tuesday’s hearing. “I have notified all relevant parties that I will be entering a [treatment center] commencing September 12,” she stated, as reported by the outlet.
Kelley Wolf's apprehension and the scheduling of an urgent hearing in her divorce proceedings with Scott Wolf were also noted.
Kelley further elaborated, “For the past six months, both Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf have requested this of me — my sole desire was to end a marriage. I am enthusiastic about attending the [treatment center]. I anticipate my time there with eagerness. My brother will be accompanying me. It's excellent. It's a wonderful location. As a mental health professional myself, I frequently endorsed it, confirming that I will be present there for a month starting September 12. I hope that helps.”
Regarding the Utah prosecutors’ plea for a social media ban on Instagram for Kelley during her continuing divorce from Scott, 57 — a detail first disclosed exclusively by Us Weekly on Friday, August 29 — People indicated that the presiding judge “made no decision” concerning the petition.
Us reported last week that Scott, who publicly declared his separation from Kelley in June after 21 years of marriage, contacted law enforcement on August 26 due to a matter that resulted in Kelley's apprehension. According to an official report, which Us had access to at the time, Kelley supposedly telephoned Scott but remained silent during the call. Shortly after this first communication, Scott reportedly began receiving additional phone calls from unfamiliar numbers.
Prosecutors are seeking to prohibit Kelley Wolf from using Instagram following her arrest.
“Scott began to get a flood of phone calls and text messages from unidentified individuals; some calls displayed only phone numbers, while others included the caller’s names,” the police document stated. It further noted, “Scott stated that none of the callers were known to him.”
These communications occurred after Kelley shared an Instagram Story featuring a phone number and the caption, “Shall we allow 'dimples' to handle his own public relations? Agreed?” The record asserted that Scott reported getting 24 phone calls and numerous text messages “within the initial ten minutes” following Kelley's silent phone attempt.
Three days subsequent to the incident, Us conveyed that Scott was granted a temporary restraining order against Kelley. He presently maintains physical guardianship of their three offspring: Jackson, aged 16; Miller, 12; and Lucy, 11.
In People's Tuesday dispatch, it was disclosed that Kelley's subsequent court appearance is set for Tuesday, September 30.
