Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes' Romance Was a Rollercoaster

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes experienced several challenges throughout their two-year romance.

The country artist and the Outer Banks actor were initially connected in January 2023 after being seen together at the College Football Playoff National Championship in Los Angeles.

Ballerini publicly acknowledged the relationship during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast a month later, explaining that she had reached out to Chase via direct message. “His username is ‘hichasestokes’ and I simply wrote, ‘Hi Chase Stokes,’” she explained.

In September 2025, Us Weekly verified that the couple had ended their relationship after more than two years as a pair. However, the separation was brief, as several sources confirmed to Us two months later that Stokes and Ballerini had reconciled. Shortly after, the duo ended things again, but they came back together once more by December 2025.
