Kendall Jenner Addresses Lesbian Rumors and Reveals Focus on Self After Past Relationships
Kendall Jenner has addressed persistent speculation regarding rumors that she’s secretly queer.
“There’s this whole segment of the internet that believes I’m a lesbian,” Jenner, 30, stated during the Friday, January 9, episode of Owen Thiele’s “In Your Dreams” podcast.
The reality television personality from The Kardashians said what “truly bothers” her about the conjecture is “how unkind people are about it.”
“It’s not with a warm and accepting attitude, like, ‘Hey, if you were, yes, feel free to join.’ It’s not considerate. It’s quite harsh. It’s very like, ‘What on earth are you doing?'” she continued.

Jenner confirmed that she does not identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, but if she did, she would be comfortable discussing it publicly.
“I understand that coming out is not an effortless thing for anyone, if not for most people,” she explained. “And I’m not suggesting that’s an easy process, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing who I am, I believe at this point in my life I would be open about it if I were. I’m not saying it’s a simple thing. I’m simply saying that knowing myself and knowing how I would want to experience my life, I would be. I wouldn’t have any reservations about it.”
Discussing the rumors circulating online further, Jenner said, “I think that there’s this widespread narrative that I’m concealing something … I’ve seen incredibly upsetting things that are like, ‘It’s detrimental to my career,’ and I’m like, ‘Really? How?’ I don’t comprehend it.”
Jenner concluded, “All’s to say, as of today, I am not. I don’t anticipate that I will be, but I’m not shutting myself off to potential experiences in life.”
In the past, Jenner has been romantically connected with several well-known figures, including Harry Styles, Ben Simmons, A$AP Rocky and others. Her most substantial public relationship was with Devin Booker, whom she dated from 2020 to 2022. The pair rekindled their romance in 2025, but their reunion was short-lived.
“They have been dating on and off for several years now and recently ended things again,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. “It consistently comes down to them both being busy, navigating their schedules and simply not being aligned. They struggle with communication.”
Jenner was most recently linked to Bad Bunny, whom she dated intermittently from 2023 to 2024.
Jenner, who has largely avoided discussing her romantic relationships, shared her thoughts on being in consecutive relationships during her 20s during her podcast appearance.

“I’m actually in a, like, period of focusing on myself right now,” she said. “I know that might sound cliché … but when I turned 29, I had a moment of realization about turning 30.”
Jenner continued, “When I turned 29, I remember telling myself, I do feel like I’ve been involved in [relationships] and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve had wonderful relationships, I’ve had less positive relationships, but I felt like throughout my 20s, I was in several. I was in a few long-term, consistent relationships … one after another.”
Jenner said she “never really had my 20s to myself.”
“When I turned 29, I made a small commitment to myself. I was, like, ‘I’m not going to reject anything [and] I’m going to remain open to anything that feels like it would be a good fit for me,’ but I really wanted to have a ‘year for myself’ where I prioritized myself,” she continued.
