Kim Zolciak reveals divorce uncertainty and new romance at BravoCon
Kim Zolciak is candidly discussing the ongoing, contentious legal separation from her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann.
“I’m uncertain if it will ever conclude. My hope is for it to end tomorrow,” the 47-year-old Kim revealed exclusively to Us Weekly on Saturday, November 15, during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas. “The situation is simply challenging. I've always managed to effectively co-parent with previous partners. Therefore, my only desire now is to successfully co-parent and prioritize our children's well-being.”
In 2023, Kim and Kroy, aged 40, ended their 12-year marriage, initiating a complicated legal battle concerning the custody of their young children. The former couple are parents to KJ, 14, Kash, 13, and 11-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Additionally, Kim has two older daughters, Brielle, 28, and Ariana, 24, from prior relationships, both of whom Kroy formally adopted following his marriage to the ex-star of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“Should he require assistance with transporting the children, we could readily assist one another, yet this never occurs,” Kim alleged. “Consequently, the current separation is deeply unsettling to me; we shared a good life. We were a couple for many years. We are blessed with four wonderful children. Why can't we simply resolve this?”

Kim expressed uncertainty about whether she and Kroy will ever achieve an agreeable compromise.
“I doubt it. The reason eludes me,” she stated. “I have explored numerous paths, diverse methods, various strategies, and depleted all available resources.”
Kim additionally theorized that Kroy's persistent “animosity” stems from her initiation of their marital dissolution.
“I believe he never anticipated my decision to terminate it. On May 5, the day I was filming, I contacted Ariana and informed her, ‘I’ve just submitted divorce papers,’ to which she reacted with distress,” Kim recounted, sharing that Ariana implored her to reconsider their relationship for at least seven more days. “Upon returning to the office, I instructed my lawyers, ‘Do not proceed with the filing.’ Unbeknownst to me, Kroy had surveillance cameras throughout the house, enabling him to overhear my conversation with her.”
A few days thereafter, Kroy submitted his own divorce petition. (Kim had earlier accused the ex-NFL athlete of engaging in stalking and monitoring, allegations he refuted then.)
“I don't believe he ever imagined such an outcome, and his objective is to publicly ruin my reputation,” Kim asserted. “He communicated this intent to both me and my daughters. It's unpleasant, but I accept it. I possess immense strength, an incredible circle of friends, a vast support network, and I am genuinely content and tranquil.”
Ariana accompanied Kim on Saturday, expressing her conviction that only prayer remains as a recourse.

“I believe prayer is our sole remaining option,” Ariana, a current cast member of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, shared with Us. “I dedicate time nightly to prayer concerning this matter, hoping for divine healing for everyone involved and their ability to progress.”
Since then, Kim has moved forward from Kroy, disclosing during a BravoCon discussion panel that she is now in a new relationship.
“I never envisioned myself with another person. Approximately two years following my divorce filing, I encountered Kyle, who had navigated a remarkably similar experience,” Kim recounted her first meeting with her new partner. “I believe our connection is profoundly deep due to our shared journey. And yes, he’s wonderful.”
