Emilie, aged 26, and Brady, 29, celebrated the birth of Teddy in March. Just two months subsequent, it was reported that their elder son, Trigg, had passed away after being discovered unresponsive in the family's backyard swimming pool.
By July, the Chandler Police Department had suggested criminal charges against Brady, who was present at home during the occurrence. Nevertheless, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office eventually opted not to proceed with prosecution.
Emilie publicly addressed Trigg's passing for the first time in August.
“A loss of this profound nature seems inexpressible,” she posted on Instagram then. “I have dedicated days, weeks, and months to articulating it, while also allowing myself the necessary period to process the bereavement of my child.”
Emilie further stated, “Trigg is our beloved child and closest companion. The radiance and essence he introduced into existence were vivid, untainted, joyous, and unmistakable. His absence is felt incessantly, and moving forward frequently appears insufferable. I had never anticipated enduring such a form of sorrow or the anguish of his sudden departure.”
The social media personality made her comeback to TikTok on September 20, adorned with a necklace inscribed with “Trigg.”

I’ve been absent from online platforms for a while. I am simply striving daily to comprehend this, to navigate my existence. I’m approaching things one day at a time. I intend to apply the same approach to my online postings.”
