Kylie Jenner Welcomes Adorable White Kitten Following Loss of Beloved Dog Norman
Kylie Jenner has welcomed a new pet into her home, coming shortly after the passing of her dog, Norman.
The 28-year-old reality television personality from "The Kardashians" series posted multiple Instagram Stories on Friday, November 7, revealing a beautiful white kitten to her audience. Jenner captured footage of the small cat exploring her residence and cleaning itself, and also uploaded an endearing video of herself cuddling and kissing her new companion.
Jenner has not disclosed the name of her new kitten or confirmed if it will be a long-term resident, however, their immediate connection is evident.
Last October, Jenner announced the passing of her Italian Greyhound, Norman, who was approximately "13 years old."
"In Loving Memory of My Sweet Norman," she posted on Instagram, accompanying the message with a series of pictures of her departed companion. "I vividly recall the day I welcomed you home. My affection for you was unlike anything I had experienced before. I had always wished for an Italian Greyhound during my childhood, but my mother never permitted it. Subsequently, soon after my 17th birthday, you arrived as a Christmas present, proving to be the most wonderful gift I could have ever been given."
Reflecting on Norman's life, Jenner attributed to the dog "[filling] my life and countless others with unadulterated happiness."
"Approaching 13 years old, yet I am certain I will cherish your memory for a duration far exceeding the years we spent together," she penned. "I regret having to compose this message. I was aware of your advancing age and attempted to mentally ready myself, but saying goodbye to you, Norm, is difficult."
Jenner confessed to experiencing profound sorrow over Norman's absence, while simultaneously expressing thanks that "my children had the opportunity to know and adore you." (Kylie and musician Travis Scott are parents to two offspring: Stormi Webster, aged 7, and Aire Webster, aged 3.)

"My dearest Normyyyy. My heart yearns for you," she concluded. "May you rest in peace, my cherished Normandle. My love for you is eternal."
Norman frequently appeared on Jenner's social media during his earlier life, with the reality celebrity often including her companion in her travels. Nonetheless, Norman's presence in Jenner's online updates gradually diminished as he aged. (Norman's dedicated Instagram profile was last refreshed in December 2017.)
In February 2019, Jenner personally responded to an inquisitive follower who asked "what occurred" with Norman, given her infrequent posting of his pictures.
"What gives you the impression that something befell my Norman?" Jenner replied. "While I may not post about my dogs as often, it doesn't imply they are no longer a significant part of my existence."

Kylie commemorated her mother's birthday by posting an older photograph from an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, depicting Kris getting Kylie's and Kendall's names inked on her lower back.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE QUEEEEEEN," Kylie expressed on Wednesday.
Earlier in the week, Kylie honored her elder sister Kendall's significant 30th birthday by uploading a collection of pictures from the celebrations, accompanied by the caption: "We love you kenny butt."
