Kylie Kelce Fulfills Travis' Otter Dream at the Zoo
Kylie Kelce publicly acknowledged her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, as she made one of his enduring aspirations a reality at the Philadelphia Zoo.
“Perhaps a quick visit to the otters is in order?” Kylie, 33, inquired of a zoo employee during the Tuesday, December 2, episode of her “FAFO” YouTube program. Subsequently, Kylie faced the lens and stated, “A special mention for Uncle Trav.”
Kylie explored the backstage area of the zoo’s otter habitat, inquiring whether the creatures exhibited a “hierarchical structure” concerning mealtime. “Their vocalisations are incredibly strong, quite remarkable,” she remarked after the otters emitted loud calls from their enclosure.
Prior to proceeding to view the giraffes, Kylie again conveyed a specific message to Travis, 36. “Okay Trav, this segment is dedicated to you,” she playfully hinted. “Appreciate you facilitating my interaction with the otters.”
Kylie Kelce Reacts Amusingly to Taylor Swift's Provocative Track 'Wood'
As a reminder, Travis’ fascination with otters was previously brought up during his fiancée, Taylor Swift‘s, guest appearance on his and Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast back in August.
“My primary internet usage revolves around sourdough baking and when Travis shares otter videos with me from his Instagram feed,” Swift, 35, disclosed at that point.
Travis chuckled prior to confessing, “I intensely desire a wild otter. I simply wish to, you know, discover these small animals and befriend them.”
Swift highlighted that the NFL athlete “distinctly” desires an otter “whose existence he preserved” and “who is aware of his life-saving act.” Travis explained that this particular aspiration stems from online videos he has watched.
“He has no desire to approach an otter and separate it from its parent,” Swift further elaborated. “He envisions encountering an otter in distress, perhaps saying, ‘My limb is trapped in a mollusk,’ and he responds, ‘I’m here to assist.’ Following which the otter would convey, ‘My eternal gratitude.’ … This is his specific fantasy. And frankly, I share that wish, who wouldn't?”
After Swift’s podcast segment rapidly gained widespread attention, Jason, 38, disclosed that he and Travis received “invitations from nearly every zoo and aquarium in America” that housed otters.
Jason Kelce Shares Kylie's Preferred Track From 'The Life of a Showgirl'
“It seems they didn’t quite grasp my earlier statement,” Travis quipped on “New Heights” in August. “My preference isn’t to visit the zoo — though I would, it’s not out of the question — I don’t wish to encounter otters at a facility. I yearn to meet one in its natural habitat [that] approaches me or somehow requires assistance and vocalizes for my aid.”
Beyond Travis’ well-known otter obsession, Kylie’s recent YouTube upload alluded to a more provocative track on Swift’s new record, The Life of a Showgirl, a song also influenced by her brother-in-law. During her visit to the Philadelphia Zoo, Kylie discovered that the personnel employ a particular method for pairing their tigers.
“We actually commenced playing ‘Wood,’” Maggie Morse, the senior director of animal care, informed Kylie in Tuesday’s video blog. “It significantly enhances the atmosphere.”
