Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky Plan Intimate Nuptials Amidst Tour and Parenthood Dreams
Global superstar Lady Gaga and her partner, Michael Polansky, could be exchanging vows within the next few months.
"It's a constant topic of conversation for us," shared Polansky, 42, with Rolling Stone in an interview released on Thursday, November 13. He disclosed that he and Gaga, 39, intend to solemnize their union either during or immediately following the "Paparazzi" hitmaker's Mayhem Ball tour. This extensive tour is set to conclude at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 13, 2026.
Polansky elaborated, saying, "There are these gaps in our schedule, and they're quite appealing. We find ourselves asking, 'Can we perhaps marry on that weekend?' Our desire isn't for an extravagant ceremony, but rather an enjoyable one. Fundamentally, we already perceive ourselves as wedded, so we don't anticipate a significant shift."
The artist, known officially as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, verified her engagement to Polansky in July 2024. This occurred when she referred to the venture capitalist as her husband-to-be during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Summer Olympics.

The celebrated Grammy recipient subsequently shared that Polansky had popped the question to her that April, presenting a “blade of grass” rather than a traditional ring.
She recounted in a March BBC interview, "Quite some time ago, while we were in the garden, he inquired, 'Should I ever propose to you, how would you like me to do it?' My response was simply, 'Just take a blade of grass from our yard, coil it around my finger, and that would bring me immense joy.'" This unique proposal inspired her track “Blade of Grass,” featured on her Mayhem album.
Despite Polansky later acquiring a conventional engagement ring for her, Gaga informed Rolling Stone, "I still possess the blade of grass. I've simply opted not to wear it today!"
Following their nuptials, Gaga and Polansky are keen to begin parenthood.
"Becoming a mother is my deepest desire," Gaga shared with the publication, further commenting that Polansky would be an “exceptional father.”
"We're genuinely thrilled at the prospect," she conveyed.
Polansky mentioned drawing inspiration from Elton John and David Furnish, whose children, Zachary, 14, and Elijah, 12, are also Gaga’s godchildren.
Polansky added, "Their children have grown into wonderfully content individuals. The paramount aspect is to foster an environment where this simply feels like our family, our way of life. Her identity as Lady Gaga, her artistry, and all that entails, should not be something she needs to isolate from her bond with me or her role as a mother."
The romantic involvement between Gaga and Polansky commenced in late 2019, following an introduction by her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, who encountered the entrepreneur at a charity event.

In their combined interview, Polansky stated, "Initially, when her mother began suggesting she wished to introduce me to her daughter, I presumed she was jesting. No one in my circle would have ever considered me as someone seeking public attention. How could an individual as introverted as I, who cherishes privacy, fall in love with someone whose life would inevitably transform mine into the antithesis of all I believed I desired?"
Gaga grew visibly moved while reminiscing about their first encounter.
She elaborated, "It's truly remarkable to reflect on that period, as many individuals in my life then were primarily seeking enjoyment. People genuinely adored the 'Drunk Lady Gaga' persona. Yet, none of my usual tactics would have swayed him. Our meeting was destined to be a very genuine, mature discussion to ascertain our compatibility. Perhaps Michael's grounded nature was what drew me to him most profoundly. He instantly grasped the gravity of my circumstances."
