Lauren Sánchez honored her close companion Katy Perry on her 41st birthday with a heartfelt message.
The spouse of Jeff Bezos, aged 55, posted pictures of herself and Perry on Instagram Stories on Saturday, October 25, referring to the “Roar” vocalist as her “girl.”
“Happy birthday @katyperry My affection for you extends to space and back,” she inscribed on a monochromatic image of the duo, incorporating rocket, star, and heart emojis. She then shared another update with three more images, stating, “Did I mention it’s my girl’s birthday? Oh how I adore you, @katyperry.”
Both social media updates featured Perry’s tracks “Birthday” and “California Gurls” as their soundtracks.

Their bond deepened considerably when they embarked on a space flight together in April 2025. Sánchez and Perry were part of the exclusively female team — comprising journalist Gayle King, ex-NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics researcher Amanda Nguyen, and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn — who ventured into space aboard Bezos’ Blue Origin vessel. Perry was absent from Sánchez and Bezos’ extravagant wedding in Venice in June 2025 due to a series of consecutive performances in Australia. Conversely, Bloom, 48, was observed at the matrimonial festivities following reports of his separation from Perry.
Just two days prior to the wedding, Us Weekly disclosed that Perry and Bloom had dissolved their engagement after almost a decade. (Bloom had asked Perry to marry him in 2019, and their daughter, Daisy, was born in August 2020.)

Perry is currently in a relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The vocalist was seen clasping hands with the 53-year-old politician after a birthday date in Paris on Saturday. Video acquired by TMZ depicted Perry in an elegant red gown, accepting a rose from an admirer outside a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris.
