Lori Loughlin Heartbroken as Divorce from Mossimo Giannulli Becomes Inevitable
The separation of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli had been anticipated for a while, yet the former Full House star is finding it difficult to cope with the breakup.
“Those close to Lori and Mossimo were aware of the significant challenges they faced over the past year,” an insider revealed exclusively to Us Weekly. “Their circle isn't surprised by this development. Lori has been going through a tough period. She is heartbroken.”
The source further indicated that Loughlin, who is 61, “believed some time apart might mend” her connection with Giannulli, 62, but “their perspectives don't align.”
“A reconciliation is off the table — it's entirely out of the question right now — and a divorce is inevitable,” the insider stated.

Although Giannulli has “been seeing other people” since their separation, Loughlin “has refrained,” the source observed.
On October 2, Us verified that Loughlin and Giannulli had parted ways following almost 28 years as husband and wife.
“They are no longer residing together,” Loughlin’s representative informed Us in a statement. “No official legal actions have been initiated.”
Just a day later, Giannulli fueled speculation about a romance with stylist Hannah Harrison, though the 32-year-old exclusively clarified to Us that their connection is strictly friendly.
“It seems the timing was unfortunate. I visited the [G/FORE Supply] store unaware that news of his separation had been released,” Harrison disclosed in a statement on October 3. “My purpose was to meet with him. … He was introducing me to the staff there so I could select apparel [for Giannulli’s brand G/FORE].”
Loughlin and Giannulli are parents to daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26. (Mossimo also has a son, Gianni, 34, from his previous marriage to Chris Giannulli.)
The former Fuller House actress and the clothing mogul secretly wed in November 1997. Over twenty years later, Loughlin divulged the key to their marital longevity.
“He is my partner, he is my soulmate,” she affectionately told Entertainment Tonight in February 2018, further stating that the foundation of a strong relationship involves “open dialogue, active listening, strategic compromise. It requires adaptability, and so forth.”
Within a year, Loughlin and Mossimo’s union faced significant strain when they were apprehended due to their participation in the 2019 college admissions controversy. Allegations claimed they fabricated their daughters’ involvement with the University of Southern California’s crew team and offered a $500,000 payment to secure their admission to the institution.

He was granted an early release from custody in April 2021, three weeks ahead of schedule.
